On my way home from a long day at work, i decide to call and order a sub rather than walking in and ordering because I wanted to get home quick shower and watch the game. The call was answered by a kind man by the name of Hodo(I appoligize if thats incorrect) and he kindly asked if he can get a number to call back when he finished with the current customers, I told him i would be there in about 5mins so ill just come in and order. I walked in to a line of over 15 people and noticed that there were only 2 fine gentleman serving all of these people to the best of their abilities. As a professional business manager myself, I was wondering how the general manager could only have 2 employees come in to work on Senior night at a home rivalry basketball game night. Also, I noticed that there was a very small selection of chips. But, through all of this I notice Hodo and the other gentleman(Lamont) looking happy and helpful with serving all of these hungry-eager guests. It produced a good impression that these men were working hard and enjoyed what they were doing while also notifying the current customers that they usually aren't this busy, and apoligized for the wait while keeping a smile on their faces throughout the whole time of me being there(30 mins). These guys need to be noticed/rewarded for the hard work/commitment to help the location seem as desirable as it should be. The coke machine was not working but they did offer cans but, the only issue I had with my visit was a couple small problems that mangement should be on top of. But all in all, the sandwich was great and the guys inside were better so, I give huge props to them for, if i had not noticed a good vibe from the atmosphere, I would have turned around and got something else to eat so, thanks for that guys and keep up...
Read moreJust went there, ordered 6 subs (14,14,14,10,6,10). I was sent down to pay while they sliced the meat. When I returned I was asked "what do you want on the first one?"
I replied for the first sub that I ordered ( A number 14). Then I went down the list (14, 14, 10). At this point I was a bit confused about the sub because it appeared to not be a 6, and I was informed that they had changed the order that they prepared the subs while I was down at the end paying. They just stared blankly at us be when we brought the issue up, as if the confusion was our doing.
So the first and forth subs had the wrong toppings, because as stated earlier I was asked what I wanted on the first sub, not the number 10 (which was the forth that I ordered). Then the #10 at the end had the wrong bread (and was a #12 not a #10) so we asked for it to be remade.
Then they made the 10 fresh (and a 10 like I ordered) but I was forced into buying the incorrectly made sub.
I will not be back to this store and I don't recommend paying until they finish...
Read moreBest Italian subs in town, hands down! Been eating Jerseys ever since I discovered them back in '95, and haven't grown tired of 'em yet! ^o^ The bread isn't quite as great at it used to be, but it's still pretty good, and doesn't get in the way of the flavors that dance across your tongue. ;) The Frandor location is still my favorite, though I do also frequent the South Cedar branch, for purely convenience reasons (it's near Celebration Cinema ^_^). The staff are very hardworking and efficient (they kinda have to be, slicing the necessary meats and cheeses fresh in front of you, and assembling each sub by hand), usually extremely friendly, very accommodating for special orders, and seem happy to engage in conversation about pretty much anything. I always feel like I'm getting a great value for my money... and even though the menu is fairly limited (compared to other sub shops), what they do is of...
