I recently completed a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit Class at Condition Zero Tactical, led by instructor Thomas Marshall. From the outset, Thomas demonstrated a profound depth of experience and knowledge in firearms safety and handling, which he communicated with passion and clarity. What stood out was his dedication to creating a safe, inclusive learning environment. Thomas went above and beyond to ensure that every student felt valued and supported, dedicating time to listen to questions and provide thoughtful, personalized feedback.
His approach to teaching is both rigorous and compassionate, focusing on the practical aspects of concealed carry while emphasizing the importance of responsible gun ownership. The curriculum was comprehensive, covering a range of topics from the legalities of concealed carry to the technical skills required for effective firearm handling. Thomas’s ability to engage with students, coupled with his patience and expertise, made for an enriching learning experience.
One particularly memorable aspect of the class was the hands-on training session. Thomas ensured that each student received individual attention, guiding us through drills designed to enhance our proficiency and confidence in handling firearms. His feedback was constructive and tailored to each student’s skill level, which greatly contributed to a productive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
Overall, my experience with Condition Zero Tactical, and specifically with Thomas Marshall, was exceptional. His dedication to his students is evident in every aspect of his teaching. For anyone looking to obtain their Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, I highly recommend this class. You will leave not only with the necessary certification but also with a deeper understanding of firearm safety, improved handling skills, and the confidence to carry...
Read moreThomas Marshall is an excellent certified CCW and firearms instructor. Thomas has extensive training and experience to draw from, is very friendly, enthusiastic and entertaining to boot. Working with Thomas he has a great crew of attentive, kind and caring people. We went through his CCW training course and subsequently joined him on two Team Training days so far.
The CCW course was very thorough. I especially appreciated the way he used more recent videos of actual scenarios where he could engage and discuss with the class the various details of each scenario to get us to really analyze and understand what is going on, what may come up and appropriate responses to different situations. It really helped us to retain so much more than textbook knowledge alone.
The Team Training courses we joined in the weeks following the CCW course has been a great help with all the important aspects that go into handling and shooting your firearm. Saftey is always the number one priority and that is obvious by the way he runs the range where he holds the team trainings. He pays attention to each individual to provide direct feedback so that you are able to pinpoint the next most impactful item to work on to see improvement. He also keeps it very fresh and engaging. We have enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and are learning so much. The overall feel of the group that has been present each time has been very warm and friendly even though it has had some different faces each time.
I highly encourage anyone looking at getting their CCW in Nevada, renewing their CCW or looking to get direct training on how to improve the handling and operation of their firearm to check out Condition Zero Tactical.
We will see you sometime soon on one of their team...
Read moreI recently completed a CCW class with Condition zero and had a very positive experience. The course was well-structured, informative, and focused on both the legal and practical aspects of carrying a concealed firearm. Instructor: The instructor was knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. He took the time to thoroughly explain state laws, firearm safety, situational awareness, and the moral/ethical responsibilities of carrying concealed. I appreciated that questions were encouraged and answered clearly. The curriculum covered: Firearm safety and handling, Legal use of force and self-defense laws, Situational awareness and conflict avoidance, Real-life scenarios and decision-making under stress. The class balanced classroom instruction with hands-on training. While the shooting qualification wasn’t overly difficult, it reinforced the importance of accuracy and safe gun handling. What I Liked Most: Clear focus on safety and responsibility, Real-world examples and discussion, Emphasis on legal education, not just marksmanship, The instructor’s experience and teaching style Final Thoughts: Whether you're new to firearms or an experienced shooter, this class is a valuable step toward becoming a responsible concealed carrier. It’s not just about getting your permit, it’s about understanding the serious responsibility that comes with it. I’d highly recommend this class to anyone considering getting there concealed...
