Flowers By Michelle — Local services in Las Vegas

Disappointed by my experience due to having to listen to gossip about a customer after he left while I was trying to pick out a gift. Very distasteful and uncomfortable.

I was greeted by a nice young woman right away and offered assistance if I needed it. While browsing a customer came in and asked why the flowers were so expensive. A woman from the back responded because they are from a different vendor. He ask a few other questions and left. The woman then goes back to the back and starts talking about the guy and how he can go to Albertsons and a story about her trailer park brother, all while her voice is echoing up front. Very awkward so I left. I think she might have been the owner too. Besides the huge ego and rude behavior by the woman the overpriced succulents are covered in little flys or bugs that would be a pain if someone brought that into their house.

The flowers were nice and as a business owner I understand that prices are more when you aren't mass ordering like big box stores. I would have bought flowers except for the uncomfortable situation and I didn't feel like being the next customer to be talked about. I will not recommend anyone shop here based on my experience because if you are ignorant to what they sell and ask questions you may just be gossiped about instead of treated...

I live in Upstate NY and was asked to shop for flowers for my Aunt's memorial service in Las Vegas. Since I'm opposed to sending flowers, I agreed only if I could select a plant instead...given the okay! I went online, visited a couple of other Las Vegas flower shops, none of which offered plants, before I came to Flowers By Michelle. Not only do they offer plants, but a large selection, at that. I quickly found one that I really liked...but dreaded seeing the, "Sold Out" or "Out of Stock" notice...that did not happen. The ordering process was simple, even writing a short message, free of charge....Awesome! I actually had to call back after ordering to make a change to the message...the young woman I spoke to on the phone was very nice and very patient, as I explained the change I needed to make (oh, it was my mistake, not theirs). I asked her to send my an email with the change and within a few minutes, there it was...perfect. My sister actually went to the store location to pick up the plant and said the shop is really cute...no surprise there as the total experience was wonderful. The flowers were easy to order online on their website and they delivered when promised. This order was a sympathy arrangement for a friend's family and we do not know what the delivered arrangement looked like in person. The family is still grieving and we do no anticipate nor expect them to comment on the flowers. They are dealing with a profound loss. I assume these flowers were as lovely in person as they were on the website. We did get a confirmation of delivery email. They don't give detail whether or not they were left at the door or if anyone answered. There is no picture attached in the email of the flowers after they've been arranged prior to delivery. Again, I would assume they would be very similar to the flowers ordered which were gorgeous. I would use this florist again if I needed something delivered in the Las Vegas Area they service.
