Pandemic procedures are still in place and being followed as far as masks and gloves go behind the counter. Half or more of the tables for dine in were not available due to restrictions. We went there after 1 pm and there were far more people than it seemed should have been allowed and it felt a little chaotic. It took a very long time to order even though when we entered there were two cashiers. One left and that meant only one cashier to handle all people ordering inside the restaurant. On the other hand it seemed that there were between 3-6 people working the drive thru and maybe phones orders? Not sure if that exactly...
The person in front of me ordered something that was apparently dramatic in some way because it took nearly 5 minutes to get her order taken and paid for. In any event, we ordered an ABC combo and grilled chicken combo. The order had been entered into the computer incorrectly so it needed to be corrected and it seemed a little painful to do that.
In direct contrast to every other pandemic-compliant fast food restaurant I've been to, I was handed cups with lids and was pointed to the drink dispenser area rather than being handed a prefilled and lidded cup like everywhere else. Kind of oddly, they were particular about not using your cup to get a refill though. Go figure..
Anyway the chicken sandwich was exactly as ordered and was good. The Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger had no avocado. Bummer. Mask back on, take sandwich back to counter and let them know there was no avocado. The lady said I'll bring you some in a cup. It took long enough that I decided to take a few bites of it before it got cold. And she wandered briefly around the dining room before my friend flagged her down for me. At least she also brought a knife with her so I could dress my own sandwich! Their fries are definitely crispy and hot -- and there was a generous amount of them. But they aren't my favorite kind of fry. These seemed like they were lightly battered and I like my fries naked.
We saw one table with two women and a teen sitting at it, they had sat down about 5 minutes before we had... One had a salad delivered right before our food came. The other two didn't receive their food until we were nearly done with our food -- it looked like just another regular salad and a burger of some sort. We overheard the person dropping it say that they were issuing a credit for a future visit...hmmm... It was our first trip there as both my friend and I had just moved to Nevada. It's not a place I would seek out, I don't think. Maybe for drive thru service but I'd make darn sure to check the bag...
Read moreI went though the drive thru and ordered 2 Southwestern Chicken Salads and paid $23.60 for them only to get back to work, 25 minutes away to discover that they had not put any corn or beans on the salad, nor did any one disclose at the time that I placed my order that they had run out of corn and beans. I called the store to express my concerns. I spoke to Dora the manager and explained that her store had failed to advise me they had run out of the ingredients to make a complete Southwest salad therefore robbing me of the opportunity to make another selection. So here I am stuck with $23.60 worth of not what paid for. I asked her to replace the salads and she said she would not replace them, and I quote “just for beans and corn”. It is the store’s error therefore the store AND Brand should make it right and provide me with a replacement of what I paid for. The same as if I had been dining in store and received the wrong item, I would hope that it would be quickly and painlessly corrected. I find your store manager’s lack of accountability disturbing. When I told her that if she didn’t replace the meals that I would take it up with corporate she said, and I quote “yeah, you do that” and hung up the phone on me. For everyone’s information, there is no phone number you can call at the Corporate Offices to lodge a concern, you must fill out a “contact form” and someone will “get back to you”… I can see how this franchise corporate email reporting would be less threatening to a store manager since there is no direct way for a customer to speak to someone who can advocate on the customer’s behalf, as many people would not go through the trouble of sending a lengthy and descriptive email. To me, this is very simple… the store got my order wrong and it should replace it with the correct items. Shame on the franchise owner for not having a well trained and developed management team in place. I would not recommend this business because of the lack of consumer forward attitude. THINK ABOUT IT… IF YOU ORDER AND PAY FOR SOMETHING FROM THIS STORE AND THEY GET IT WRONG, DORA THE MANAGER WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT EVEN WHEN THE FAULT IS ALL OF THEIR OWN MAKING. We have many choices in Food Establishments, choose somewhere that will treat you with respect and appreciation for spending your hard earned money with them - this is not the place.

Read moreI hate leaving any thing but good reviews at restaurants, fast food, or not - just because I know how hard it must be, and that they appreciate positive reviews to counteract the people who just like to complain. Unfortunately , that’s what I’m doing this time. I had not eaten here in a couple years and since I was nearby I decided to eat here again. I remembered the hamburger I had previously was excellent ,
Today, I was at the Centennial location about 1 pm. I ordered the “junior double cheeseburger dipping box” because it was highlighted as something special and limited and I thought I would enjoy the burger, a few fries, drink and go on my way I ordered at the counter and I stayed at the restaurant to eat it so everything should’ve been wonderfully fresh . Instead it almost felt cold when I got it /lukewarm at best . I wouldn’t be complaining if that was the only issue. The burger itself was dry and bland as can be, The cheese was odd. One yellow slice, one white slice of American cheese /I’m guessing, but it just had no flavor. There was tons of mayonnaise, a tiny bit of ketchup and a few pickle slices. It just left a lot to be desired. Ive had better burgers in a Happy Meal. I ate a few bites and a few fries which were OK / nothing to write home about. There was a side of ranch dressing in there, which I guess was the dipping part of the box. I wasn’t asked what I wanted to dip it in so maybe that’s the only option. All in all I ate way less than half of the meal and threw the rest away . I’m not saying I would never return to Farmer Boys, but it’ll probably be a while. There are just too many other good...
