My daughter has been in an IHOP craze lately, which I'm ok with since I enjoy visiting the IHOP franchise from time to time - as long as it's not often in between visits (~6 months or longer is sufficient). We've had IHOP recently at a different Las Vegas location; however, on 10 Jan 2025, my daughter wanted IHOP again, even though it's only been 14 days since our last visit. But since this was yet another opportunity to spend quality Dad-Daughter time before she went back to her University, I wasn't going to say no. The funny thing about this IHOP is, it was ~8 years ago that my family and I last visited this IHOP location - so it's been a minute. When we walked in, I was met with a sense of nostalgia because of our frequent visits in the past. The place wasn't busy at all so we were able to get seated right away. The one thing that I'll miss about IHOP was how they placed all their different flavored syrup on the tables. I understand why this has changed, but I sure do miss that concept - it's probably better (more clean/safe) this way. Our primary server, Jahaziel, did a remarkable job that day; he was very attentive, friendly, and professional - definitely good qualities in a restaurant server. We ordered the Veggie Egg White Omelette w/the Original Buttermilk Pancakes and side of Ham, Bacon, and Hashbrowns; and the Chicken Biscuit Sandwich w/Strawberry Banana Pancakes (instead of fries). What's interesting about my order is that I ordered the exact same thing as I did from my previous visit 14 days ago. The food quality was the same (excellent), though I was disappointed with the food presentation of my Omelette - it looked like they just threw it on the plate. Not to mention, it was all on one side of the plate when it was sitting in front of me. I'm not an extreme food critic or a culinary snob (and I understand this is just IHOP), but you still have to have a sense of pride in your craft, especially in the food/restaurant business. Nonetheless, it was all going down to my stomach so after my plate was empty, I basically forgot about it until now (while writing this review). Everything tasted magnificent and my daughter was happy, therefore, that made me happy as well. I feel that the prices have always been adequate at IHOP. I noticed that the prices have increased since my previous visit, which was expected since it's been years since my last visit here. But even though I'm not a fan of it, I also understand the need to raise prices based on the economy. I've always respected this franchise for their unparalleled (and continuous) support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I definitely enjoyed my time here and it was even better that I could spend it with my daughter. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The lady right off the had an attitude ugh There’s 5 of you. was rude to us just because we wanted to sit by the window. Didn’t miss a beat on saying we won’t fit. no. You want to squeeze together. To my kids who were just happy about it being my birthday.(me being tied from a long day) just she leaves and comes back saying I’ll take your drink order ONLY. I can’t hear both of you to the kids stop. With an attitude. We still put it aside we want to keep it a fun dinner. My mom who barely speaks English pointed to the fruity drink, says she she wants the strawberry one. No that’s watermelon you want the watermelon and just walks away at that point I’m getting upset from the disrespect and had to yell excuse me. A different employee had to get her attention. Just for her to receive the correct drink. 5mins later we get our drinks. She Comes back you ready? No. Comes back like 10 mins later. Are you ready now!? We start ordering and while my kids are ordering she rudely (interrupting them, they are human beings too) points out that the item my kids aren’t free(I never even asked about that promotion) then after as she’s taking the menus she grabs the adult ones with an attitude I collect the kids ones and I with had to hand them to her after she smacks her lips about it and as she takes those she HITS ME WITH THE MENU… I didn’t say anything to her. I ask a different employee for a manager(there wasn’t one.) I canceled my food order before he completed. We didn’t touch your drink I tried paying for my kids drinks. Zero stars. This was our experience. Never again.

IHOP has gone down hill here and elsewhere it seems. Service is still so so. As a customer who has tried it off and on for a few years, it is always disappointing find customer service has remained subpar. Especially as the prices continue to go up and portions are getting smaller. Add in that some of the best items have been dropped from the menu and it is no wonder so many IHOPs have closed. An example, used to be you could order a shake and they would bring you a milk shake glass and the extra in the mixing glass. It almost made it worth the price. Now the price on milkshakes has gone up and they told me they no longer bring you the extra. Strawberry blintzes were one of the best items but has been dropped from the menu. I was recommended to try the strawberry crepes. Crepes were a HUGE disappointment. Way too pancake or batter heavy. No sweet and savory filling to balance it out. I ended up sending it back, it was a MAJOR Disappointment!! Cupcake pancakes went over well with the kids though. So did the regular french toast with my teenager. Overall I'd still roll it a disappointing visit. Guess I'll wait another 3 or 4 months before trying another location somewhere.

Oct 2023 Update: Unfortunately years later from my original review I still feel they are a 3 Star at best. I called ahead to make sure my order was ready this time. They assured me that it was. After 10mins of waiting, they finally told me they lost my order. I waited while they remade it. While I did I overheard them talking to a delivery driver. Apparently they gave their order to a different person before the driver arrived.

Update to the original review: Although the service was better, IHOPs staff is still very slow and does not seem like they care much. Having said that the service is better than it was before. For this reason I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Hopefully the management will continue to train their staff to get them back up to the restaurant standard before the pandemic closure

Origional review: The hostess does not know what she is doing. She cannot handle to go orders, deliveries and people who either are placing reservations or coming in from them. I scheduled a reservation for myself and two girls almost 2hrs out. I was on hold for over 10mins and had to call back to place the reservation. When we arrived 5mins early we had to wait almost 20mins for her to "figure things out." She irritated a lot of delivery drivers in the process and several others with reservations walked off after dealing with her. . .

I understand that times are tough and people are being asked to do more because of the restrictions. However, management needs to realize the loss of business she us creating because of her frustrating customers.

My recommendation after 3 times of visiting with reservations would be to avoid this location at all costs until the govenor allows us to go back to normal. Their staff is not capable of handling the current restrictions and their management is not willing to make the necessary corrections.

It's a shame because my girls prefer their pancakes over Dennys but Dennys can seat me in 15mins and get us completely thru breakfast (while entertaining my daughters) in...

ok so i went here august 4, 2018. i live in florida but every summer i go to vegas. i was flying back august 6 and we were taking a trip to lake mead and we stopped in here. we sit down and get settled and our waiter comes over. i immediately see how charming and kind he is and i’m like woahhhh ( plus i thought he was really cute ) and i’m like taken back for a second. anyway, we leave and i’m thinking about asking him for his number but i didnt since i was leaving back to florida. the whole car ride to lake mead i’m just thinking about how i should have asked him for his number and stuff and then my friend from back home texts me about how she just made a vine compilation and she needs a title so i said to name it “rare vines to show your hot ihop waiter” and she did. anyway, i flew back home and just lived my life as normal. every few months i’d think about that waiter and be like man i shoulda got his number we coulda hit it off. then like last week, my friends video blew up. as of right now, it has 800k+ views. and i was like “man i REALLY wish i could show him this that’d be so funny.” and she was like “look up the ihop”. so i did and i was looking through the pics of reviews and stuff and i found him. his names shaheed. i lowkey remember that. so yea this is my best way of trying to reach out to you shaheed. we literally live 2000+ miles away plus you might not even work there anymore lmao but if you do, pleaseee dm me on instagram @oooh.selena like seriously let’s talk lemme show you the video :) you seem really chill and nice. and if he doesn’t work at ihop anymore and you know him, please show him this...
