Farmers Furniture financing is a complete rip-off. No matter how you pay—whether by debit card or directly through your checking account—they tack on an extra $4 per month, adding up to $48 a year for absolutely nothing. Do they disclose that upfront? Of course not.

Their pricing strategy is just as deceptive. They artificially inflate prices only to put them 'on sale' occasionally. If you don’t buy during a sale, you’re overpaying. Add in the high interest rates, and Farmers Furniture becomes one of the worst choices for furniture shopping. You’re better off going to Brownlee’s or Wendy’s Home Furniture.
On top of that, their debt collection tactics are aggressive. They start calling at 8 AM and won’t hesitate to show up at your house as late as 8 PM. Be prepared for an unannounced visit.

Their manager at the location, (I forgot his name and unfortunately, I have to describe his physical attributes to identify him) a heavy set white male seemed to be very rude to his employees. As Deborah was putting in my information into the system he was talking to her in a very loud tone and used the phrase "You Need" as a directive. He also spoke to me in a harsh tone when discussing delivery times and dates. I would hope this is not the representation that your organization wants. Although my experience with the sales people were amazing, it was slightly overshadowed by the manager. I had spent my morning at another furniture company and the whole interaction left me uneasy. I told Molly about it and helped to calm my nerves by telling me we’d take it one step at a time to get me what I was looking for. I told her that I was looking for a bedroom suit, mattress and a living room suit. She asked what types I was looking for and if there was something I knew I didn’t want. Never once did she try to force an upsell on me. She took the time to actually listen to what I knew I wanted.
