Classic Fun Center — Attraction in Layton

On Saturday April 6th, we had our 6 yr old daughter’s birthday party at this location. We spent more than $200 for a 2 hour birthday party, and none of the children were able to skate!!! When we took all this kiddos to the counter for skates, we were told they did not have enough roller skates for 7 kiddos the age of 5 & 6 to use. This party date and time is specifically for children under 8 and there were literally no skates for the kiddos to use. When were working to try and find if any other skates would fit, the 2 people working at the skate counter treated us like we had completely put them out and we were asking too much of them to try on other sizes. We got the worst looks and attitude from them. Then plastic toddler skates were thrown up on the counter by the worker and he told us that was all they had. They were broken, Velcro did not stay and they were just in horrible shape. One of the children and my daughter did try to use the skates and they fell, with no support, because the Velcro did not stay. Luckily they were not hurt!!! Needless to say, my 6 yr old was very upset that her and any of her friends or cousins were able to skate. The people working at the counter did NOT offer to help us out in any other way. We had a nice host, but even she did not have a solution to our problems with our visit. It was supposed to be a SKATING party, and we paid a LOT of money for nobody to be able to skate! All the parents wanted to spend a bit more and join in skating with the little ones, but that didn’t happen. We were treated like we were the issue when we raised the concern of how our party went. I reached out to management, they got back to me on Tuesday, heard my concern, but now it has been 4 days and no word from anyone. I called today again, we were offered a family pass for 3 hours. We can’t use a family pass because there aren’t skates for the kids in my family! We didn’t get to even skate the first time, so how exactly is that a solution?!. I have been a customer of Classic Skating and Classic water slides for over 30 years and I am beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and the lack of quality customer service we have received. $200 is not a small amount of money for a party and we expected the best experience for our daughter and our attendees. How do you run a skating rink with NO skates for kids birthday parties? We would never have booked a skating party if we had known there would not even be skates for 7 kids to use! Even more disappointing is that management and owner seem to have no intention of making this right. They wouldn't even return my call., We have been customers for so long, but at this point we don’t ever want to spend money at these locations again. We wish this wasn’t the case. Unfortunately it’s the kiddos that are going to miss out...

Gosh diddly darn it this place is so fun!

The skating rink is amazing for skating normally, and not only that, not they have AMAZING DJ's doing games and playing awesome music for the skaters.

But let's say that your not really into having wheels on your shoes. Not only do they have a skate floor, but they also have an ARCADE! with amazing games and prizes to win, this'll surely cure boredom, even if you can't skate!

But let's say that you don't like video games either, and that brings me to yet ANOTHER cure for boredom at classic fun center, their BOUNCE ZONE! with inflatables for every occasion, this bounce zone is fun for all! From foam pits, to obstacle courses, they got fun for everybody.

Now, let's say that you're not even into inflatables, well guess what? They got LASER TAG! with a great tag system and area for you to play in, this attraction will be fun for all ages!

Now, after all that, you're hungry, and you want some delicious food. Some places, you gotta leave to go get some food, but not here! Here you can get some food to punctuate your experience, with hotdogs, drinks, to some of the BEST pizza I've ever tasted, they got the food you need.

So, in short, I HIGHLY recommend classic for a family night, friend hangout, date, or even some night your bored. Classic is fun...
