I was extremely disappointed in my service today. I ordered a dozen doughnuts online (6 mars doughnuts and 6 glazed). When I got to the store, I had to wait 30 minutes for 4 cars, when I got to the menu to let them know about my order I didn't even hear from them for 5 minutes. When I did, they had a hard time finding my online order, but they finally asked me to come to the window. At the window I was informed that they were out of Mars doughnuts but would have more ready in 10 minutes. Since I still had to drop my daughter off at school, I told them I would have to return. The person kindly assured me that my order would be ready for me when I came back.
When I came back I had the pleasure of waiting inside for another 15 minutes. I could see they were busy, but I could also see 2-3 employees just standing around at any given time. That confused me, because I had to wait 5 minutes just to have someone talk to me when I went through the drive through, and there was plainly a line of people in front of me waiting for someone to take their order. Most of the time there wasn't even anyone taking orders at the counter. When I finally got to the front of the line, they couldn't find my online order again and definitely didn't have my order ready like they said they would. They tried to get me to pay for the order again until I reminded them that I had already payed for it online.
To top things off, when I actually had a chance to look at the doughnuts, the mars doughnuts looked rushed (no real surprise there) but several of them also looked like they had been crushed in someone's hand. There were finger grooves all around the perimeter of the doughnut.
I consider myself to be a patient person, I have been on the other side of a drive through window. I understand they were busy, and I know they can't control the fact that they can't sell doughnuts that aren't ready. There are things that can always be controlled like customer service and decent communication. I didn't encounter an abundance of either of those during my...
Read moreEdit: I left this review 2 years ago. Went back to them and had a WORSE experience. Leaving the original review below this.
"Sorry, we are out of that." Is the response I got for 4 things while driving through. An absolute joke. I get a dozen glazed(which is $16 by the way, more than $1 a donut) and they gave me COLD donuts that possibly were made the night before. What are they even doing in there? How are they still in business when I ask them for their basic product and they can't even get that to me fresh? Out of chocolate glazed? No whipped cream for an iced coffee on a MONDAY??? This is NOT how a donut shop is run and there is no reason a big name like this shouldn't be restocking up on their products through the day. I even asked how long the wait would be for them and she didn't even know. Like they don't even want to make any more for the day. Also, this is during their Harry potter donut collaboration. No Hufflepuff donuts first thing in the morning. This was at 7:30 AM. Never go here. Try a different place.
Original: I go on a 3 strike system. I ordered a double dozen pack(one assorted, one original glazed). I asked what comes in the assorted dozen. They told me one of everything they have made, and told me that their specialty donuts would also be added. After pulling up and paying, they gave me the boxes. I check the assorted box. 4 of the same donut and 4 of another. Strike one. After that I check the original box. missing a donut. Strike two. After that they told me to have a nice day and I went on my way. I called them less than 5 minutes after this and let them know and also said the name on the card. I was using my wife's card, so they told me I have to bring the person and the ID to pick it up for what was going to be a simple drive to and from the store. Strike three.
The only reason I'm giving this a 2 star is due to them fixing a mistakes they had made when I came back with my wife.
Bonus strike: This is the 5th time in a row I have gone here and gotten hollow "filled" donuts in...
Read moreEvery time I go to a place with the intent to review, I always have the highest of hopes for the establishment. Krispy Kreme has failed spectacularly!
I came in specifically to try a few new LTO doughnuts that are part of their "Taste of Italy" promotion, which started TODAY (7/29/25). I figured it shouldn't be a problem since it's a brand-new promotion that began today. Well, it was a problem! They had none of the products advertised.
I have managed restaurants in the past, and if there is one thing that I learned, it is that, when you have new menu items that are launching on a specific date, you have all the necessary items needed to prepare the new item, and your staff has practiced making the item in order to have a successful launch ON THE DATE THE PROMOTION BEGINS! It is also imperative that you have the items ready to go immediately when the restaurant opens on the first day of the promo. Yeah, that didn't happen. They had the "Taste of Italy" promotional materials hung prominently inside the store, but did not have the product available.
I was going to get a strawberry-infused frozen lemonade to go with the doughnuts, and decided to get the drink even though they didn't have the doughnuts I was seeking. Until I was informed that, despite the again prominent displays advertising the beverage, they did not in fact have the item in stock. What a huge disappointment. I left this location completely empty-handed.
I wouldn't waste my time coming to Krispy Kreme again. This was the final straw after many visits where I stood at the doughnut case for up to 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. Why in the world would I come back when there are so many other options; most offering vastly superior taste and quality...
