Tacos Mi Mexico Taco Stand — Restaurant in Layton

Ordered 10 carne asada tacos ,2 Birria tacos ,and a Torta and I only received 5 carne asada tacos (on the tiniest tortillas I ever seen that were soggy and raw)on top of that there was only one Birria taco (I was shorted 6 tacos!!!)and the tortilla it was not pan fried or cooked at all totally raw and didn’t have any sauce to dip it in , but the worst part was the torta bread was completely soaked and soggy like and didn’t have any flavor just tasted like meat only with tons of mayo on just a French bread . The salsa was really yummy especially the spicy green one was amazing and they provided plenty of salsa however skimped on toppings and when I asked for extra lime there was 2 tiny slices …Ok rant over but overall would not ever order here again :( just disappointing and not...

I found this place about 8 months ago and have been going here atleast 2x a week for food...... however, the last 3x I have ordered good from here, the food quality just isn't there. The rice is hard as well and feels like it's either uncooked all the way or old as it is very hard and dry. We thought it was a one off since the first time we got the food it was 10 minutes before closing buy we tried it again the following week mid day and a few days later... the rice was hard and dry all 3x....... I wish the lady that was there a few months back came back, food was always good with her..... Anywho, I will probably still come here as it's hard to find good Mexican food up here buy I just won't...

Asked if they recommended anything & they suggested Quesabirrias! Omg, so good! 4 Quesabirrias 4 for $10. Tacos $2.00 each. Everyone was so nice. She even suggested putting the salsa on the side, so it wouldn't be too spicy. Glad she did, because they were perfect! The tacos were good too, but the Quesabirrias were everyone's favorite. Even my super picky 10 yr old loved them. It's almost been a week since we got them & everyone is still eager for us to go get them again. Service was excellent too!
