I went there on Sunday afternoon with a friend. My friend purchased 3 items and asked for individual bag since they all going to different places. Sandra, sales associate, was very rude. She was just repeatedly saying "we don't do that". Then, she called the female store manager who is even more rude. The store manager did not seem to care at all and said that the store would not have enough bags. It seemed to me that it's more of store's inventory problem, not customers' problem. If the store are always out of bags and don't order more bags, instead refusing to give bags upon customers' reasonable requests, it's a huge management problem there. Besides if the store policy is to protect and keep the bags and ditch the customers, please make a big sign in front of your cashier so that I won't bother asking. At the point when the situation didn't seem to possibly get any worse than it already was, Sandra ended by saying "I'm right and you (refer to customers) are not always right" I don't know what kind of customer service training she's been through, but that totally blew me off. I never said I was always right, I was just simply and politely asked for bags for items that I paid William Sonoma for. Somehow, they managed to make it seemed like a crime. After my friend purchased her items, I purchased my item and I told the sales associate "Sandra" that I didn't want a bag or anything from her if that's too much to ask for and I hope it help the store fix their "will not have enough bag" issue. The problem is not the products, but it's the people who work there that hurt William Sonoma brand's reputation very badly. Read moreWhat a nice experience. The store is loaded with a lot of great cookware and dinnerware plus all the things that you expect from Williams Sonoma. The ladies were very helpful… I was buying things and bringing them to the front periodically to stack on the side. Once I finished, she offered to have our purchases shipped back to our home in Florida for a very reasonable price. They came today in perfect condition and packed so much better than I would have been able to possibly do. I don’t know who did the packing, but thank you very much for a job well done. Read moreI visited this store last Saturday. When I picked up a steamer, I didn't notice that there is a sharp steel stick on the side which cut through my index finger and caused a bleeding wound around 1 inch long.
I took the defective merchandise to a register since I didn't want anyone else gets hurt, and showed her the stick and my bleeding finger. She looked didn't care it at all. Poker face all the time, simply took it back and no apology, even didn't say "sorry".
