I waited a total of 2 hours before actually being seen. I waited for an hour in the waiting room, and only after asking if the doctor knew I was checked in, was taken back to the room. Once in the room I waited another hour in my wrap for a pap. Though that wasn’t the only thing I needed. The nurses could have at least come in and done the excess while waiting for the doctor to do the pap. I needed one tet shot, a simple physical, and my vaccination record printed. Instead of having that all done at least while I was waiting for the doctor, I listened to the nurses and other employees laughing up and down the hallway. I walked out in my wrap to ask why I hadn’t been seen yet and as I was speaking the male nurse interrupted me to say “oh, I was just wondering how long you might have been in there.” Which honestly infuriated me more. Maybe you should have been doing your job for the last 2 hours instead of answering in shock when I walked out in my wrap.
At the end of the appointment my doctor recommended some thyroid labs and the nurse continued on to tell me I could get the labs done down stairs. BUT. The labs closed at 5 so I’d have to come back again. So not only could I have had the other tasks taken care of while waiting for the doctor, but I could have gone down stairs and had my labs done also before they closed.
Extremely disappointed with premiere family. Every one of your offices is like this. Employees are not doing the job they spent years in school for, and instead are messing around up and down the hallways while I assume to doctor takes the brunt of the work and in return is extremely behind.
I left happy to never come back. Unfortunately those words most likely put most of you in a good mood, not caring that you lost a customer who complained about...
Read moreAlright, first off, Dr. Burgeson is not the problem here. She is actually one of the best doctors I've ever had, she listens and explains things well, she's always remembered what I told her from our last visits and even takes the time to ask about my personal life. BUT. The receptionists and crew apart from her, a disaster. So bad that I will not come back to the doctor here, even though I really loved her, and I cannot bare to recommend this place either. They gave me another patient's information without checking with them, it's a relative so they just assumed it was alright when that was not the case, I was not put down as someone who could see their info. The receptionists never, and I mean NEVER pick up. It's near impossible to get an appointment cuz you can't reach anyone. They also told me and my relative that we didnt have a copay, charged the wrong insurance, never even asked me about insurance to begin with, and even after we asked for them to double check to make sure, they told us we had zero copay. Several months later, magically a giant bill shows up and they tell us they had no idea??? I went in multiple times to ask them about what money in total I owed, where the records were, what insurance they billed it to. Finally we got a different receptionist from the other office who gave us actual help. My God, this place was a mess. False info constantly given, inability to reach reception, hidden fees and nobody to answer questions. Update to company response: Of course you don’t have my phone on file, wouldn’t be unlikely that you guys forgot to do something as simple as put in a phone number. After receiving a surprise copay bill over $400, there is nothing to resolve or speak about. Your company is...
Read moreSomething is up with the scheduling software at this place. A few months ago I scheduled an appointment with a PCP that I had seen there a few weeks prior. I showed up for the appointment and checked in. I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour after my scheduled time before they called me back. When I went back, the doctor seemed rushed and the other staff seemed confused about why I was there and they asked me why I came to the Urgent Care. I didn't. I had scheduled an appointment two weeks prior. Nor did I enter that part of the building but they took me over to that side when they called me back. Weird, but whatever. Mistakes and flukes happen.
Today I went in for a COVID booster. I called a week ago to see if I could walk in but was told to schedule online. I did so. The soonest appointment available was a week out. I scheduled that. They said they'd send me a text half an hour before the appointment to remind me. I remembered the appointment but no text ever showed up. When I arrived today for my appointment I showed up to a completely empty waiting room and checked in. I sat in a completely empty waiting room for 25 minutes before I was called back to get the shot.
All the medical and other staff I've ever interacted with here are fine and great. No complaints in that regard. I just worry about scheduling things here now because I seem to disappear from their system whenever I do. And long waits seem to necessarily follow when...
