The Casino At Lakemont Park — Attraction in Logan Township

If you're having a wedding reception in Altoona - this is the place for it! Vicky, the general manger, is absolutely incredible. She thinks of everything and is on top it throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is beautiful, historic, and clean. We gave Vicky all of our decorations the Thursday before the wedding, and she and her staff set-up everything and took it all down. We gave her over 30 dozens of cookies and she made a beautiful cookie table (and we literally just gave her cookies and the cookie table sign)! Well worth the money. The catering service (Snappy Chef) there is also phenomenal. People moved through our buffet line incredibly quickly and the food was delicious. Really the best place for wedding receptions in the area!!...

The Casino did the most incredible job ever for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Vicky and her staff are the most amazing wedding planners ever, which was a major reason we chose the Casino for our 250 guests. My husband and I (and our family members) had no worries the day of the wedding and could just enjoy every second of it. She arranged everything from the flower delivery and set up to the ordering of the special linens and the break down after we all left. My daughter came up with all kinds of ideas from Pinterest...and Vicky made nearly all of them happen with enthusiasm and class. And the FOOD was fabulous!! Had my wedding reception here. They are super friendly, efficient, and know how to keep everyone cared for. We had a guest fall ill during our event and their staff handled it amazingly and filled us in the next day. We dropped off our decorations and picked them up the next day. No work! Our grandparents and parents were permitted to enter before everyone else so they could view the room and get settled in seats before others rushed around them. The food was delicious. I've been to other events here and they've been similar, friendly staff...
