Was highly disappointed in the service and staff here this afternoon. Went in with my wife to pickup a repair job that I was told could not be fixed only to find out that my warranty i purchased would only get me the purchase price back to put toward something new, but that I had to give up my original ring. Granted it wasn't a top quality item, but it meant a great deal to us and that's why I purchased the lifetime guarantee for it for my wife. We had this item inspected regularly and now had to let it go just to get anything out of the warranty. 2 stones had fallen out and the reason was prongs were worn down too much to repair. To top that all off we were not treated well at the visit. I had some questions and felt like I was always given a matter of fact answer with no options at all. I felt like my situation could have been handled much better. I was discussing jewelry for my wife, but was treated like I was returning moldy bread to Walmart. People cherish something they wear on their hands for years and I really thought Kay's would have had my back on that notion. Not the case. All business. Anyway...keep that in mind when purchasing the protection warranty and if you feel like you aren't being treated correctly ask to work with someone else. Kay Jewelry is the BEST place to purchase and have peace of mind knowing that you matter and will be treated like a VIP. The team at Kay's have been so dedicated to helping me achieve my dream ring over the past several months, and today it was finally made a reality!
