I will begin with the FOOD TASTED GREAT! However, from the moment we sat down we were FORCED TO cram in a space that was already almost full. I asked the “manager” to move us to another area she told me to move to another location and she said bee aggressively that it would be ANOTHER 30 min. She tried to make one of our guests sit beside a woman who folded her hands and extended her elbows so she couldn’t sit beside her. I asked to speak to the owner. She told me she was the owner. That was a lie. I remained very professional and had a neutral body language throughout our entire visit here. I stayed because we were visiting our daughter in college and this was where she wanted to eat. Had it just been me and my husband we would have left. We were the only African Americans in the entire building, so we knew what this was about. Our waitress was AWFUL! She catered to the other party and her body language was terrible! We have a three year old. I had to ask for a booster seat. She brought out her drink in an adult glass and I had to ASK TWICE for a child’s cup. This was NOT a great experience. She also charged us for extra sauces when we were sitting there eating. I Was a server and have NEVER not left a tip but this had to be the smallest tip ever! She came out of the establishment and ASKED me what she did wrong. I clearly wrote on the receipt” please work on your customer service and body language”. This chic came OUTSIDE YALL!! Talk about PRIVILEGE!! If I had EVER done that at Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday’s OR Logan’s I would have been FIRES and probably charged with harassment. The chef was AMAZING and he did a great jo and the food was delicious. This also wasn’t the cleanest place. There was some kind of substance on the blinds which I noticed when we were getting ready to leave....
Read moreFirst time visiting this place with my wife and it was just bad. we sat in the hibachi section ordered fried rice and the fried noodles, the chef came out and didn't even get our order right. Then when the chef started giving out the fried rice we were completely skipped. We asked the hostess what happened as we order fried rice and fried noodles and she says oh well that will be extra. Yes we know that, thats why we asked both. She turns and askes the chef if its okay and he looks at us like we are being unreasonable then goes yeah fine. excuses me sorry for wanting our food. He makes the fried noodles then makes our fried rice, Except when we finally get our rice it is bland bland bland. Moving forward to the meat my wife and i both ask for our steaks medium rare while another guy at our table asks for medium. The chef cuts up all the steaks together and cooks every piece as medium to medium well. My wife's steak was pale on the outside, barely seared and gray on the inside no pink, not warm and not seasoned. I've had buffet steak better seasoned. Then the chef screws up the other guys order by not even giving him his full order of steak and shrimp. Not impressed and do not plan on coming back. Only highlight if you can call it that was at least there were huge portions of tasteless bland...
Read moreWe drove an hour to get to the restaurant with a large number of guests to enjoy the experience. The chief didn't do a single trick, show, or even speak to us. He just dumped all ingredients on the grill at once and cooked them as fast as possible and left. I paid for a show more than the food, but I didn't get what I paid for. I could have just ordered some food to go and it would be a similar experience, except that we saw the other tables having fun and getting friendly and engaging chiefs, while our chief is pouring our food into plates without a single word other than him asking if we want more sauce. I complained to the chief (who didn't comment and just ignored me), to the waitress (who was nice, but didn't relay the message to anyone), and on the way out I talked to the manager, she apologized for the poor experience, but I didn't see any action or attempt to fix the situation other than saying I am sorry. I am not sure if I will go there again, we had bad luck with the chief, but it's...
