Weis Markets — Local services in Logan Township

I consider this the main grocery store that I spend my hard earned money at. Lately i've been forced into going to Walmart or Martin's. I will not spend any money on their produce and fresh fruit. The fruit is not so fresh or the produce as well. I have to throw away so much of their produce and fruit cause it turns so quickly.. frim apples being bruised to potatoes rotten on the inside peaches an oranges too. Pears are usually hard and have no taste. I dont even look at their watermelon cantaloupe and honeydew. Garlic is usually old. For as much as they charge you would think it would look more appealing and have the product last alot Ionger than it does. Only that particular store is that way. Nor sure where the blame falls and I don't care but it's a shame that I have to shop at another store. Martin's wow it looks like bthey take pride in how they display their groceries. Walmart as well. I don't mind paying a little more if it means I can trust what I buy. Weiss reminds me of the old station mall riverside . If it wasn't for 2 particular items and acouple woman that work there that are very nice to me I wouldn't never go in there. I've been going there for over 25 yrs....

Wow Weis, these responses could be better. Very dissatisfied with the lack of cashiers and front end assistance. The past few times there have been employing standing around but none running register. Then occasionally one cashier is open. Today I had not one front end associate on the floor to assist or check out my items. This is unacceptable. If I have to check myself out I should get a discount for doing your employee's job.

*Update...called the number given after my visit today but waited for 5 minutes and was told I was caller 6. I had already waited 10 minutes in line for 1 item. I'm not sure who's idea it was to have front end people standing around while there was one cashier. Others trying to self checkout because they have a life to live and don't want to wait but then need assistance and have to wait for that anyway. One gentleman walked over to the 6 employees at the service desk complaining so he got checked out there. I saw one employee on her phone and another kept buying scratch off tickets. That's...

Well i guess ill never learn. Ive mentioned about the produce and fruit before. The peaches 2.99 lb laste to 2 days . We ate one and had ro throw 6 away. The watermelon was tasteless. The cantaloupe and honey doo was too ripe and rhz only thing i could keep were the grapes cauxe i could try them first. Ive been pretty lucky witg the bananas too. The cara cara oranges were so dry last week. They werethrown away as well. The worst of it all was i bought 4 hamburgers that were reduced and i paid 3.00 for them and they were mostly red with alittle brown mixed in . The next day the plastic wrap blew up and they stunk and turned so brown. To the garbage. Wow. They are always out of the bread i use. I could continue but it wont change anything.
