Earthly Awakenings — Attraction in Logan

Jan 23 UPDATE. BEWARE!!!! Marlene, is no longer owner and has gone down hill. Way down hill. Went in there tonight with a friend to grab some cigars and glass. When I told the owners husband the prices on the cigar I was looking for was double the price anywhere else, he asked me to leave and said I was “weird” then claimed I call an employee names. Literally never happened. I was bullied my entire life for being overweight, I would never ever ever bully anybody else. Ever. Then said, all veterans only want one thing “a discount”. I’ve been coming to that shop for nearly 6 years, before these two owned the place when it’s sold. This guy was so disrespectful that even his wife asked him to leave the room as he continued to talk horribly about myself and veterans As he coward to the back. Brother and sister veterans, I implore you not to shop at this place. For one obvious reason I don’t need to say it again. I could not believe how I was being disrespected as I have literally spent thousands of dollars there for gifts for Friends. I’m in shock at what just happened, absolutely in shock. I have never been talked to you like that in my entire life, and then to speak badly of the military community and veterans is completely and totally unacceptable for any reason. I have a lot of friends that go to USU with me that are also veterans that Will be interested in hearing this as well. Not only veteran friends, but I will be sharing the story with everybody. Because nobody should be asked to leave a store when you let a store employee know that their prices are high on one item, a cigar. This really is sad to have happened, Logan is growing so fast and intern isn’t bringing in the most savory people. This guy, not sure of his name, but he’s probably 5 foot nine blonde or light hair has a horrible beard and always has a beanie on, Is a crook and a coward. His wife tried to solve the situation, as I was just speaking, but this joker just kept running his mouth and speaking badly about me in the veteran community. If you do decide to go, give this guy a piece of your mind. Also like to remind this gentleman that we, including military buddies hang out at the same places and events. It’s a small town. See you around little guy!

Update: I'm not sure what has changed, but the atmosphere is definitely different. They no longer carry the two things that brought me into their shop. When I asked if they were getting orders back in, the younger lady just said, "not sure, everything we have is out"... I'm just going back to ordering online.. bummer, I really liked this place.. Great atmosphere with way more to offer than I thought. I'm glad I found this place. Next time I stop by, I'll leave more time to wander...

I'm sorry to have to change my original rating from five stars to two. I really loved this little rock shop & the staff a year ago, but thing's have really changed & it's a disappointment. I put some rocks in this shop on consignment & without warning or notifying me, they pulled my rocks & stopped selling them, put them in the back of the store & again I stress, said nothing to me about this; despite having my contact information. Knowing full well I live out of town & don't get in often. I called in to check on if any had sold & was informed of the situation & told nothing else had sold since I last had checked because all my rocks had been pulled & placed in the back. To top it off, there wasn't really a valid reason given for this decision to pull my rocks & place them in the back. The staff I spoke to was extremely rude about the situation & couldn't explain to me why they pulled my rocks, nor why I hadn't been notified. I'm just extremely disappointed overall. The whole situation was very poorly handled & the staff was extremely unprofessional about it as well. I'd be willing to fix my review however, if someone would be willing to reach out to me & revise this matter. Until then, I'm very sad to say, but I won't be returning & I wouldn't advise anyone else to either honestly. I wish I didn’t even have to give a star based on my horrid experience I had last time I went into this store.

I went in about 6 months ago to buy a turquoise ring, and there was a long, dark haired woman working the front desk who was showing me the rings. I asked her 2-3 times to alternate between the two displays of rings they had because I’m extremely indecisive and couldn’t decide on one. After about 15-20 minutes of looking, I had decided on one and asked her to ring me up. Well, after she rang me up she looked at me dead in the face and said, “you aren’t hiding a ring behind your back are you?”. Mind you, I am disabled and require a wheelchair to get around. This woman, even though she had been standing right next to me the ENTIRE time I was looking at these rings, was insinuating that I had stolen one and was sitting on it. Never been back to this place and I don’t plan to either. Horrible...
