If you're looking for an inviting coffee shop with a warm atmosphere and top-notch drinks and food, Caffe Ibis is a must-visit. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the inclusive and friendly staff who made me feel comfortable asking questions about the different coffee offerings.
The coffee itself is truly sublime. I opted for a latte, and the rich, smooth espresso was perfectly balanced with velvety steamed milk. But what really blew me away was the beautiful latte art adorning the top - it was almost too pretty to drink (almost!). The baristas clearly take pride in their craft.
In addition to the phenomenal coffee, the food is equally delightful. I devoured the ham and Gruyère croissant, which was flaky, buttery perfection. The real surprise was the mustard filling in the middle, adding a delightful tang to complement the salty ham and nutty cheese. A thoroughly craveable pastry.
With its welcoming vibe, knowledgeable baristas, and delectable coffee and pastries, Caffe Ibis is a neighborhood gem. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this inclusive and delicious...
Read moreThis is my favorite café in Utah. I can't say enough how wonderful it is. I have gotten up early on weekends and traveled 83 miles from Salt Lake to get coffee here more than once. The interior is so relaxing and peaceful, the service is always awesome... The BEANS. The beans are AMAZING. I simply will not make my coffee with any other beans. But even when I go to other cafés who use Ibis beans, the drinks just aren't ever up to the level that this location is at. The tastiest coffee drink I have ever tasted came directly from the hands of someone here. The art gallery is so classy but not in-your-face, so people (like me) who don't know much about art can still appreciate it. The menu prices and order setup are also really good, and anything you get from the menu will be delicious. The place is very clean and their COVID precautions are solid. The exterior is also so inviting and charming, and the live music that once took place each week gives that perfect café vibe. The whole area has a very charming feel to it, and is so relaxing to spend time in, as well. This is literally my...
Read moreIbis still makes the most elegant cup cappuccino in town. They have strayed a bit from their healthy food choices. For example, the muffins are grotesquely sweet, monstrously large, and probably exceeds a full day of calories for the average human.
I used to enjoy a healthy breakfast and cup-o-joe while doing a bit of work on my computer. The WiFi disappeared for a couple of years so I had to move to the mundane world of Starbucks. Recently, Caffe Ibis reintroduced WiFi probably because the new WestSide Coffee establishment is providing good local competition & Wifi support. So I have tried Caffe Ibis a couple of times. I try to behave myself by ordering food & coffee/tea while sitting at the bench seats rather than occupying a table. However, in my three last visits (2018) to Caffe Ibis, the Wifi was slow, unbearably slow, and then non-existent. Luckily, I had reading to do so my visit was still productive.
I think I will continue at Starbucks, WestSide,...
