If you have not experienced Le Croissant in Logan, you must seek them out and go. They are expanding and changing their menu every week I go. This wonderful place is run by an amazing team of chef and baker. The sandwiches, bagels, pastries, desserts and baked goods from Amber are the best in the region and lately, Robyn is creating gourmet sandwiches like I’ve never had anywhere else in the country. Vegged Out is sooo tasty. They have a booth at the Logan Gardeners market on Saturdays and can also be found in Cafe Ibis. A great chef and a fantastic baker….what more does one need in life! 8/4: two months later, Le Croissant is even better… perhaps the best pastrami I’ve ever had but every sandwich on their menu is crafted with love and flavors like nothing else available. We are foodies and appreciate good food, Amber and Robyn are turning out some of the finest eats in town. Enjoy…update 10/22: the restaurant is now located across the street as well so you can get their amazing food at Caffe Ibis and Le Croissant…they are also baking amazing bread and frankly are the best bread makers in the Valley. I’m so excited to sit down in their cute eatery and try everything on the menu. 6/1/2024: I have been out of town for a while, but had the amazing experience today of going back into Le Croissant after not being there for many months. I was blown away. The menu is unbelievably yummy. The selection of pastries and bread are just like walking into a good French bakery. What amazed me the most was the number of super friendly employees, working behind the counter ….the place was bustling and the service was fast and fantastic. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s some of the best food I’ve had. It’s clear that they spend a lot of time thinking about the combination of ingredients and the quality of the food is top notch but again I was most impressed today with the quality of the employees that work there; they truly care about the customer and I was...
Read moreWe LOVE this place, and have been coming here since it opened. The food is so DELICIOUS!!!! We have always had a very positive experience whether we have dined in or gotten food to go. For the first time EVER we had a 'not-so-great' experience. We ordered some Timber Ring sandwiches (our VERY FAVORITE SANDWICH EVERRRR!!!!) to go, and when we got them back to the office, they were pretty WELL done. The bacon was burnt, and the croissant was very dark brown. This was pretty disappointing, as we were really looking forward to our sandwiches. At first I was just going to let it go, everyone makes mistakes, and they are usually spot on with everything so why make a big deal, right? Well sometimes it's not about making a big deal, as much as it is giving a business the opportunity to show how they handle things when they mess up or make a mistake. Let me just tell you that the store manager, Sam Pooler, definitely stepped up. She immediately accepted the responsibility of the situation, sincerely apologized and offered a very generous resolution. Her attitude towards this issue, and the way she handles everything, will keep my and my family coming back to Le Croissant for years to come. Thank you Sam for remembering what customer service is all about, it's something that a lot of companies have completely forgotten about, and very refreshing to come across. You have created LIFETIME LOYAL...
Read moreIf you see me lingering suspiciously on Federal Ave, I’m probably just trying to work up the willpower to not buy every pastry at Le Croissant. Spoiler: I fail every time.
Their laminated pastries are downright dangerous (to my willpower, not my health—I’m pretty sure butter is a health food here). Most recently, I got hooked on the Cardamom Pull-apart. It’s like a warm, cozy hug from a Scandinavian grandma I never had. And the cheese danish? Don’t even get me started. Actually, do—because I will talk about it for hours.
Yesterday I went with my 4-year-old son. He chose to stick with a soda because he hasn't acquired quite as sophisticated a pallet to appreciate the delicate pastry layers, but you won't see him complaining about them either.
It’s the perfect Logan spot: tucked on Federal Ave, with local vibes that make you feel cooler just for being there. Everything is fresh and locally sourced, which makes me feel very responsible about my pastry addiction.
If you’re looking for the highest-quality baked goods around (and an excuse to cancel your afternoon plans because you’re too busy eating), Le Croissant...
