I’m going to preface this review by saying that I’m from metro Detroit where Middle Eastern food is on nearly every corner and it’s all really delicious, freshly made, and authentic.
I didn’t have high expectations as I have typically been disappointed when trying Middle Eastern restaurants in Utah. Well, this place definitely showed me up! The food was absolutely delicious. We had a Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Chicken Shawarma platter, Baklava, and Karak tea. We are Chicken Shawarma snobs and while we did miss having Toum on the wrap, the Tahini sauce did not disappoint. The chicken itself was yummy but not as flavorful as I would have liked my Shawarma to be. The Hummus was perfect - so smooth and creamy! When we make it at home, we always have to remove the chickpea skins to achieve that consistency. Hats off to them if they are doing this! It’s not fun. I was so happy to see Tabbouleh on the menu and I was able to substitute that for the Habibi salad on the platter - it was light, crisp, and just what I wanted. The flavor of the Baklava was excellent, but unfortunately the bottom half of the phyllo was underbaked. I still ate both pieces though and I’d order it again so.
The entire staff was amazing. Everyone was professional, friendly, and made us feel welcome.
We will definitely dine here again. I hope they expand their menu to include other delicacies like Dolma, Kibbeh, and Sfeeha. Overall very thrilled to have an authentic Mediterranean restaurant with high quality food in...

Mediterranean food is hard to come by in Logan so I was super excited to try this place. I got the chicken shawarma plate. At $20 it’s a little spendy for lunch, but the portion size was large.
Chicken was underwhelming - pretty chewy and not overly flavorful. I wonder if the lamb is better. The salad was a wonderful, bright and refreshing addition to the plate. But the humus is by far the star. It was so creamy and luscious. Next time I’ll be buying a big bowl of the just the hummus.
While a little on the pricier side, I think I’d try it again. Many of the salads, sides and desserts look intriguing. Place was clean, had a nice vibe, plenty of seating, and staff was kind. Excited to have Habibi’s adding to Federal...
Read moreThe food at Habibi Mediterranean was okay but the prices were surprisingly high for the type of restaurant it is. You order at the counter (no table service) and while the space is clean and the atmosphere is decent, it’s far from fancy, yet the prices suggest otherwise.
Some items stood out, the falafels were tasty but at $2 each for a single piece, they felt overpriced. The falafel wrap was on the smaller side and didn’t feel satisfying or filling. The babaganoush was below average in flavor and the garlic sauce came in a plastic container that seemed old with a hardened texture and some watery residue, not very appealing.
Overall, the food ranged from below average to just okay and while the service was polite and the place looked tidy, the value just isn’t there. It’s hard to justify the high prices for what’s essentially a casual,...
