Late review - I went for the 2nd time about 3 weeks ago to see if my experience improved after going on the opening day, but unfortunately it didn’t. The staff is not warm nor welcoming, this time they took forever to open (the restaurant was open when we got there, but they were not set up for service yet and I waited +20 mins & no one told us anything, they just pointed at the tables for us to wait there) Also, there was a relative of the owners eating Lee’s sandwiches in one of the tables lol, I’ve worked in the food/hospitality industry & that’s always a no-no; outside food is eaten outside or at the back of the house. Also, the food needs more salt, and seasoning in general. Read moreThis place never fails! One of the reasons to why I love Nova Bakery, is that it allows me to enjoy the flavors of Venezuela 🇻🇪 and I get to spend time reading and writing. This place is like a safe haven! The staff are amazing. Helpful! Friendly! And are willing to give you an explanation of the foods from a cultural perspective!
All the food is amazing; but here are my favorites: The Nova Rice, La Yucca Rellena, Arepa de Pabbellon, Empanda de Shredded Beef and The Nova Burger! Also, with everything you try, you must have the Nova Lemonade or a Frescolita!

The food was incredible and so authentic. I enjoyed the cachapa, arepa, and pastelitos.
You really can’t go wrong with any of those but it would be a crime not to order a cachapa.
