Beach Inn — Hotel in Long Beach

The staff were super unfriendly and ignorant. All of the "new" towels were dirty. They had stains on them and I had to wait until my body gets dry naturally. I told the staff that I am uncomfortable staying there and want a refund because I cannot even have a clean towel. They not only did not give me a refund but talked with me in a very arrogant way and told me dirty towel does not a big deal and we won't refund you anything. I first told them about this 2-3 days before I was supposed to checkout. I asked the hotel staff member to ask the manager to come so that I talk with him/her. The staff member told me the manager is not here and he comes here on an off on random times!!!!! I came back two days later and there was a lady there. I told the lady about the problem and she pretended that she's sad about my experience. Then she said my husband is the hotel manager and she will call her husband to ask him whether she can refund me or not. Then she went to a room and her husband came out! It turned out the husband was the same guy who I talked with first and who told me the manager is here on random times!!!!!! SUCH LIER PEOPLE!!!!! He then told me he will not refund me. I told him I will write a pretty bad, and honest, review if you don't refund me (I would still write the bad things about the motel but would also mention if they had refunded me at the end) and he shook his head and gave me an evil'ish smile meaning he does not care if I write a bad review. I have uploaded two photos of the towels that I had in my room. Most towels were much worse than the ones that you see in the photos that I have uploaded but I initially didn't think I would want to post a review so I did not take photos of those. When the staff member came to my room to see the towels and I showed him some of the very dirty ones (they had huge black stains + mold on them) he laughed and said something like "ohhh people sometimes use these towels to clean their shoes"!!! I cannot believe he was laughing and even said that!||||There are other bad things about this motel: the internet connection speed is suuuuupppeerrrrrrr slow. Sometimes it would take me about a minute or so to open Google and a couple of minutes to open some websites. Plus, since the motel is located next to a highway-like street it is super noisy.||||It is obvious that they have only opened this motel only for making money and nothing else; It looks like this is a family business for them and the comfort of their guests is super unimportant for these people. This hotel is run by one of the most unprofessional people I've ever had to deal with. First I decided to change my mind and splurge for a higher end hotel. When I tried to contact them to find my reservation the person was in the shower. You read that right. He told me to call back in an hour because he was in the shower.

Fast forward to the night of my stay I received a phone call from same person. I was in the middle of the HIlton lobby and I put him on speaker so everybody could listen to him as he yelled and lectured me on how I should have checked in an hour ago and why I didn't answer my phone originally (I was doing a tour where they asked us to set our phones on vibrate). I finally told him how unprofessional he was being. He proceeded to yell at me and abruptly hanged up. I looked at my friend and Hilton employees with their mouths hung opened. They could not believe a person like that worked in the same industry.

The next day I found I had been charged but that's okay. I would rather eat the cost than to stay at a hotel with such horrible attitudes. I pretty sure every 5 star these guys have were bought. We drove by this location before staying at the hotel and it looked like a hole in the wall. An eye sore compared to most...
