This hotel was a terrible experience. I booked through booking.com and the pictures looked good. I googled the hotel after I reserved and it was too late to cancel without being charged full price. When we get to the room the A/c worked but the vent was broken and sitting on top of the a/c unit. The door had no safety lock on it, which was concerning after we saw the type of people hanging around. There was a lady screaming, sitting on the curb, spewing out things like she wanted to kill everyone. There was a roach the size of a VW Beetle. I guess that’s the only bug I saw, so at least there was no infestation. There were at least two very loud fights outside with some shady people calling each other the N word and people hanging off the balconies, watching the fight. Lots off screaming by some “man” with a long pink weave. The room itself, you could see daylight through the front door, bathroom door did not latch, the sheets had cigarette burn holes in them, there were splatters of what looked like poop on the wall near one of the beds, there’s a hole cut into the wall, probably from a previous plumbing leak, the lamp shades had water stains on them, the walls were touch up painted here and there with non matching paint, the floor was sticky and felt terrible to walk on without socks or shoes, the stairs going up to the room were weirdly uneven and lumpy in some spots. The shower head is at a height where anyone over 5 feet tall will have to do a back bend or squat to wash their entire body, my knee caps are clean though. The front desk guy was nice though and the ventless a/c blew cold. They gave us 4 towels and 2 wash cloths, there were 2 very small packets of all in one shampoo, and two small bars of soap for 4 people. I’d give this place zero stars but I can’t, so I will give it one for the nice guy at check in.

I stayed here because of a convention. Just for one night. I checked in dropped my things really quick and left. I did leave the AC running that by the way was barely working. I did notice that there were no lamps on the side tables but at the time it didn't matter coz there was one on a desk. So when I came back for the night I tried to move the one lamp available to the only side of the bed that had a plug so that I could attach my phone charger and turn the lamp on. Well the light bulb was not working. I also noticed that the towels were dirty. So I called the front desk and I asked for two more pillows and more towels and the guy that answered was very rude and told me they didn't have any. I asked if they had a light bulb and he told me I should have asked for that in the morning. I told him I was not in the room all day and I didn't know the bulb was not working until now. He said he couldn't do anything about it because he is not maintenance. All I said was thank you for the horrible customer service and hanged up. This place is not cheap and they are rude and dirty. They also took copies of my ID and my CC. I will ask for that back when I check out cause that is very shady. Bath tub was dirty and the mattress moldy. This place is horrible. Booking com rated at a 5.2 but I'd not that at all.

***Bedbug infested*** Stayed there for 3 days as a solo traveler. Chose it because of pet friendly and location. Cost me $160 per day including tax. I had room #204. There is restaurants, bars, beach, and grocery shopping within walking distance. There is a well maintained patch of grass on the block for doggy business. Check in/out staff were pleasant. Across the street is a loud restaurant/bar and traffic, don't expect to get a good nights rest here. There is no breakfast. It is verified that homeless people living in some of the rooms. The door to the balcony shuts with a big bang through paper thin walls. My room had oily hand prints on the ceiling under the bed. Fridge was outdated and had a hair or 2 in the freezer compartment. The pool and jacuzzi were out of service. They cut the white fencing around the pool area time I was there to film for a Netflix series Emerald releasing next year. Am fast asleep each night and didn't notice the crawlies.. Until I checked out with some major itchy red welts all over my scalp, forehead, neck, arms, and hand. It's been a week later and I am still scratching from the bites. Should have read the previous reviews before booking.

Horrible. They fail to inform you before you pay, that their free wi-fi doesn't work. Considering I need wifi to turn in my work for the day I had to go somewhere els to do so. Place is filthy. Definitely shouldn't be paying $102. Maybe $50. So if you're reading these reviews to decide whether or not to stay here, don't. Toilet was filthy, thick dust on top of the mirrors and picture frames. Carpet is disgusting and looks like they half ass vacuuming or don't at all. Asked for a non smoking room and given a smoking room. Asked for 1 bed and given 2. Not a big deal besides the smoking room but I guess listening skills are not required to work the front desk. Walls are absolutely filthy and disgusting. Holes in the walls and you can see everywhere they obviously attempted to mud but was never sanded to blend in with the wall. My shower towels had a long black hair hanging from them. I never do reviews unless I have something positive to say but I hope to save people from staying here. I travel for work so I stay in a lot of hotels. This is probably the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. Smoke detector doesn't work. Battery is obviously dead and not changed and it wasn't even on all the way. No security latch on the door, so someone can just help themselves into the room if they wanted to. I also have to put my key in the door to shut it when I leave cause the door won't shut without doing that. Ceiling is flaking off in front of the bathroom from obvious water damage that hasn't been fixed so probably means there's black mold growing up there. The light cover in the bathroom is absolutely filthy, obviously never been wiped down. The bathroom mirror looks like it has paint or something on it. Whatever it is I scraped it off with my finger which tells me there has never been an attempt to clean it off. Shamrock stickers on the towel rack. Shamrock sticker and Big Dog Attitudes sticker on the light framing between the beds. The picture frame above the bed closest to the door has tagging all over it, big marijuana leaf and even dated 2015 by the artist which says there has never been an attempt to clean or replace it. The lights are even bent and crooked. So obviously never been an attempt to fix or replace them. One of the lights has a burnt bulb and obviously been no attempt to replace it. Never been an attempt to remove them. Bathroom door is filthy and has paint all over the knobs. Outlet covers cracked and showing the metal behind or just missing altogether. Haven't hopped in bed yet but from reading the reviews I can almost expect to have bed bugs. I'm so disgusted. On the bottom of the beds where the framing is, is disgusting. An old fry in case I'm hungry I guess. Bedside table has never been moved and cleaned behind. A Moldex Pura-Fit wrapper. (Whatever that is). No fire sprinklers in the room at all. So if there was a fire in my room not only would I not have a smoke detector to let me know but no sprinklers as well, which obviously is grandfathered in cause that would not pass inspection today. A Gold Bond sticker on the front door inside the room, halfway hanging off and curled which means there has been no attempt to remove it. The recessed light in the ceiling by the front door has no lens in it which means at one point it was removed or fell out and obviously no attempt to fix or replace it. The carpet underneath the tv stand or drawers or whatever you want to call it is filthy underneath. Found me a pain pill of some sorts. I-2 stamped on it. That's awesome. What if someone had their toddler or baby crawling on the floor, found it and ingested it. All because they can't get on their knees and look underneath. Four Shamrock stickers on the air conditioning unit, that obviously has had no attempt to be removed. Wow. Even the top of the headboards that lay 2 feet above the mattress have a thick layer of dust. The outlet behind the second bed doesn't have a cover on it. Out of characters to write more. DON'T STAY...

Great place had just been remodel. Fresh paint, flooring , small mini fridge in room new head board new TV stand wifi. Clean sheets.only done fall paint was peeling in bathroom door. The room was a smoking room and even after being remodel it smelled lot like smoke. I would recommend everyone who does not smoke to ask for non smoking room for this reason.which they do have but since we checked in last minute we did not ask for. Had the gentleman in the front check in desk serve us who was friendly and polite. He also printed out that they don't charge for replacing room keys. We had asked for 2 keys for both rooms that we got. This place has a big pool down fall was dirty water not blue. They also have a hot tub which to my belief I think had to much clorine I deep my feet ND felt it burning in to my pours for quite some time that I sat there. This place also has a ice machine some where near the lobby by the pool area my wife and sister happen to stubble across it. They also have a microwave and coffee machine in the check in lobby. This place has a vons (Safeway) across the street and a restaurant bar place right in front of it. It's not to far to walk from to the beach which we did. FYI walk down to beach front and take stairs down to the beach area if walking to beach we walked all the way down to like 10th place before we decide to drop down the stairs to the bike Lanes and the walkers area Along the beach. Well I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a decent place to stay with friendly staff. The first day we checked in was after a visit to the beach we dragged all kinds of fine sand to the room the next morning we stepped out, room service did a wonderful job of cleaning out all sand. we left behind in the room area the bathroom and the tub loved that part the most not having to walk in sand in the room.sorry no pictures which I could of...
