Jenni Rivera Memorial Park — Attraction in Long Beach

I visited her memorial today. It's kind of hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. I unknowingly passed it up several times as I was looking for a statue or some type of monument to mark the location. I didn't see the sign. Then her tribute is very beautifully done but it's a almost towards the back of the park. The memorial didn't have any benches and the people I saw utilizing the park...

The mural is so well done!! It is slightly off-putting that there are homeless people camped out about 100' away. One guy came over offering to take pictures of us and seemed annoyed and rushed our decision when he saw we were apprehensive about it. We told him no thank you and quickly walked away cutting our visit short. Beyond that it is a beautiful well maintained...

Cute little park. Not a whole lot of space for activities but it's good for a picnic. The drawings on the walls are super super cool. They have graffiti style spray paint all over the brick wall. It also has very luscious grass you can lay on without having to worry about dirt patches with lots of gross bugs. Don't make a special trip but if you're out and about why...
