I came to visit Beverly hills centre. It was nice place big and open space.. Some great stores and some basic stores. However i witness the huge amount that most stores where shut down or no work in that specific store as you walk by... And also witness there wasn't even many people at all in this shopping mall during a mid week during the day. it felt like a empty store. However it wasn't crowded and it was spacious yes but it was almost empty place with only just some people walking around but almost dead place.. Plus more stores where shut or most where under construction. Or stores that are open didn't had anyone in as a costumer... Or just some. It kind of felt like i was the only person shopping at this mall. But what can i say.. I did like the place it was nice and big but almost empty and most stores where shut or (under construction) But other then that the place is great.. good brand stores or just some selective when available. And great open space and a huge windows where you can see the Beverly hills mountains with a view. Most seats around where empty. Again there wasn't many people. There was but only 50 percent of people walking around checking out the stores that are in the mall when i went there... Usually when i enter large shopping malls you will have about 80 or 100 percent of people visiting a shopping mall. But i guess at least the good thing is that i didn;t had to hear screaming kids around. It felt like i was the only VIP around. But felt a kind of empty shopping mall sort of feel to it. But its a nice place i still recommend coming into this small. Just surprise how most stores where shut or most with signs under constructions but no work happening but still a few good stores still open but not many people inside the stores as the shopping mall was sort of empty kind of thing. But again i still recommend this nice shopping mall.. Hope next time i visit is not so empty mall :) unless i happen to be a VIP shopping all to...
Read moreThe ONLY THING I REALLY DO MISS about the old Beverly Center, compared to the NEW version now, is THEY TOOK AWAY THE FOOD COURT that used to be near the rooftop of the Beverly Center. There were soOOOo many good food options at the top floor food court that USED to be at Beverly Center. During renovations that took place fairly recently, they removed the food court, and ….. I honestly don’t know why they did that. The few restaurants left around the Beverly center are OK. But … I really DO miss that rooftop food court. The views of LA and the Hollywood sign were amazing from rooftop of Beverly Center. They used to have these binoculars you could pay like .25 cents for, and you could scan the whole mountain peak near Hollywood sign and all. Was amazing. Now? Beverly Center “feels” different. That’s neither good nor bad…. but YOU will be the judge of your own experience there. They recently added a game spot called “Lucky Strike” to the bottom corner of Beverly Center (near Beverly and La Cienega). And recently added a Golds Gym, if you’re into weight training. There is a VAST amount of good parking available at Beverly Center. I also like the restrooms. Restrooms are very “private” with stainless steel shiny doors and tall walls from top to bottom, that give great privacy. There’s a decent fairly ok amount of stores available to shop at Beverly Center. I still think Century City mall, has waaaay more options for stores available (and it’s an open air mall). And Beverly Center is also within short distance of the Grove Mall (which I think you should also check out) and Westfield Century City mall. Beverly Center is also not that far from Rodeo Drive OR Hollywood Walk of Fame. Overall? Beverly Center is an ok place to shop. But you do have other options...
Read moreA big point of interest on my local guided tours, the Beverly Center is among my preferred and referred places to shop! Great for the accessibility of premium shops, restaurants and services! Great also for it’s presence as a landmark, visible from the Sunset Strip! I love driving into this massive structure and taking the escalators or elevators to the upper floors to walk thru. Taking it from the top, with a look out from the upper windows on the La Cienega Street side, then on to browse the shops, look at trends, make purchases and have something to eat. All the while descending back down to the garage level where I parked! Garage and pedestrian entrances are referenced and located from the bordering streets, tho helpful to note where we parked and or entered from. Beverly Blvd is on the north side, La Cienega to the east, 3rd Street at the south end and San Vicente Blvd on the west side. The Beverly Connection garage across La Cienega Blvd also has convenient parking. Street metered parking on the surrounding streets may be possible, tho with restrictions, as per the signs. As a guide, I’m often asked if the Beverly Center’s in Beverly Hills and just who is or was Beverly? The Beverly Center isn’t in Beverly Hills, rather in Los Angeles, likely the namesake of Beverly Drive. The Beverly name was perhaps derived from the same place as Beverly Hills, Beverly Farms in the City of Beverly, Massachusetts. That was the origin of oilman and local area developer Burton Edmond Green. The Beverly Center is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, except Sunday’s, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Seasonal and holiday schedules may differ, as alternate hours may be posted on the Google Maps listing...
