Cheviot Hills Shopping Center — Attraction in Los Angeles

Antique check stands from 1986 with the same amount of product shelf space as a 7/11. Items on the top shelf are double stacked so with a light breeze, you might end up with a concussion while shopping. They are always "out of stock" on frequently bought and popular items so "rain checks" are handed out like candy. On a good day, there will be 2 cashiers on duty, baggers who literally never rotate to help the line with more groceries, out of the cigarettes you smoke, money orders done by one person who is never there, refunds and exchanges require an override card from a supervisor or manager who is never there and the checkout lines are identical to the lines at a six flags ride. Self checkout was invented well after 1986, so that is not an option. Your best bet is to just shop at the Rite Aid next door, they always have...

If your on the Westside. The Cheviot Hills Shopping center rates 10 stars. I cover westside area to Pasadena. Vons customer service is first class. I have my favorites @ Vons on Sepulveda. This store has several notches up in the meat dept. The deli. Cashiers super friendly & professional Subway is one of the better ones. They understand English better. Keep the food continually. Fresh. Whatever time of day containers are fresh. Some good news. The recycle Planet earth Pay people on the spot. No going in lines @ Vons. Keeps things faster going less...

I like this shopping center because it is right off of National and there is ample parking. Also, you have Vons, which is very clean and the staff is very nice, Rite Aid (nice that this one is still up and running since the one on Wilshire across from Ralph's at Hauser is closed).
