Update: NOW OPEN AS OF JAN. 5, 2022. This dog park is finally open. Decently sized - maybe 25’x100’ or so. No separation for big and small dogs. Five benches. Two dog fountains. Dog poop bags provided. Went in the afternoon on a weekday, and we were the only ones there.

ALSO, i went once long before (covid shutdown) n whole of run was very bloody. smh...otherwise this is a very large beautiful park w lots to see n explore ☺...

The dog park is not separated for small and big dogs but the area isn't large so it's easy enough to supervise play between dogs of all sizes. It can be very tough to find parking although I did park near the train station. However, as a Dtla resident, I will likely continue going to the Arts District, Dog Park there's more regulars, more parking, and it's a much larger area as well as separated...
