This is 3 rd time going to Kang Nam Restaurant this month. All 3 times proved to be a winner. First time was with 4 people. 2nd time was 7 (so we got a private room), and today was 9 people ( very nice larger private room). We ordered various Korean food, but I stuck to various fish dishes: Grilled fish -pollock twice, today I ordered Eun Dae Gu jorim (my favorite -this was awesome!! ). Others ordered Kalbi BBQ (without seasoning (?)$63! One ordered Kalbi Tang (beef soup- she loved it- good portion). One ordered Cold noodle and BBQ Kalbi combo (she said that was GREAT!), a vegetarian ordered Dwen jang soup (soy bean paste soup with veggies & tofu), one ordered Bibimbop (all kinds of veggies & bulgogi (BBQ beef) on top of rice (looked yum! I thought about ordering that myself, but went for Eun Dae Gu jorim ❤️‼️). Did not disappoint! Everyone was very happy. All the side dishes were clean, appetizing, and plenty (no weird stuff 🤣.. I’m Korean but I like to stick to traditional ( ? standard) side dishes, no crabs 🦀 squid, 🐙 octopus, etc.(no thanks). Service was great, nice ladies were quick and attentive, quiet and brought more of anything we wanted in plenty quantity. Normally I have something to say (minor complaints) but I didn’t have any ❤️❤️❤️😃😃😃🎈🎈🎈
It was so relaxing and enjoyable lunch with everyone enjoying their food 🍱✅❤️💯

Read moreI am deeply saddened by some Korean business in k town including this one taking advantage of their customers. I ordered fish soup not once but twice thinking maybe it was one off. Remind you the tariff hasn’t kicked in yet but they practice like it has. Before you could see big chunks of fish to enjoy. Both times I had there weee. Rely 1 chunk rest were pieces of bones and rare flesh I couldn’t believe I was paying top dollars for the soup. It’s not just the soup. The size of corvina the fish decreases to 1/3 smaller. I stopped going there to eat my fav soup in town chirinabe style. I don’t go there now not even once a month I go to other restaurants to eat other Korean food who are nothing me off. I’m very saddened even to write this. I haven’t addressed this rampant unconscionable business practice. Elderlies go here a lot. This is also stealing from the. But...
Read moreGreat Korean and Japanese food with good service! There are three different areas you can sit: traditional Korean, Japanese sushi bar, and sports bar. I like the traditional Korean area, but it's cool that you have choices depending on your mood and your party!
The hwedupbap (sashimi w/ veggies and rice) is huge and delicious. The unagi bowl is delicious and also generously sized. They refill the banchan if you ask. Everything we've ordered has been great and I like that we leave full, not still hungry like when the portions are small.
The owner lady is always around checking on customers and smiling. She makes sure...
