So decided to come by and kill some time around the promenade. We went to the underground paid parking. We were gone for less than 30 minutes when we found our car smashed into. Thankfully we had nothing taken. Security is suppose to be roaming around but apparently not enough to deter people to smash people's car. The head guard was helpful but in the end it'll be costing me $750 out of pocket to get all the damage repaired. Visitors BE WARNED. I had my windows smashed with glass everywhere. we had to go to a car clear to vacuum up all the glass as it was everywhere. The only security cameras are at the front entrance. The head security guard was nice and helped direct us to the nearest police station but pretty much ruined whatever afternoon plans we had. It's pretty frustrating that this is a "closed" parking lot. Will I ever return ? Probably not.

I went there to go to the movies, but I was unable to enter because I had only gotten one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine and they required patrons to be fully vaccinated. It ended up being an evening of chilling and eating Ben and Jerrys ice-cream. There are a variety of shops and entertainment as well as restaurants and a movie theatre. I posted some videos as well so you can check those out.

We went to Dave and Busters..it was great. The waitor was awesome. I think his name was gilbert. The games. Whoah. Whoah now. Tons of games! All the games. I have never been to one of these before. And can I say thank you for having zoodles for us keto fans out there. It's a healthier choice than pasta. The cocktail menu rocks. We will be back . Fo sho!

Going to Rave 18 is like playing Russian roulette with 3 rounds in the chamber. Odds are, you're going to have a less than satisfactory experience. I'm tired of gambling with this place, and will go to Arclight instead. Been going to Rave 18 for 5 years, and at least 75% of the time, the experience is ruined by a disrespectful and inconsiderate audience. You've got the sassy lady who won't put her phone away when the film starts. The "crew" behind you who are the only ones bellowing in laughter at everything not funny. The jackass looking like R Kelly, who has to YAAWWWNN multiple times during a quiet moment in a film so that everyone can hear him, intermittently blended with squeaking his chair.

Someone, just 1 row back actually had the gall to answer their phone and talk on it quietly (like that would make it ok). The person next to me and myself synchronistically turned our heads and stared at him. He stowed his phone a few seconds later, but the deed was done.

About the only time I've had a good experience is when going to see a film like The Hobbit, or paying for the most expensive show available, or going to a show before 11AM. I'll leave it to you to figure out why...

I recently arrived early at a film, and went to their bar for a quick beer. There was one tender taking care of a group of 3 girls, who had no idea what they wanted except to ask a freight of questions. The barman didn't acknowledge me for 5 minutes, and that's not an overestimation. Terrible beer choices too.

Once I got into my showing, the projectionist left us with a blank screen for almost 2 minutes, so the film started part-way in. But something was off... The lens wasn't aligned or something. It was unwatchable. 4 guys including myself went out into the lobby to let the staff know, who acknowledged the problem but showed no concern. Maybe 7 minutes into the film, someone finally corrected the projector.

I'm also sick of having to sneak in my healthy snacks because all American theaters prefer to sell poison for outrageous prices.

Go to Rave 18 at your...

I love the center but NEVER go to the movie theater Horrible services ! too many people have gotten harassed . my experience: I am 17 . At all other movie theaters if you are 17 you are allowed to go to a Rated R movie so i assumed that was the case . i went to park my car and had my friend buy my ticket . we finally go upstairs to see the movie and the ticket guy " Daveon " . Wouldn't take my ticket he said i needed to go change it . So at this point like anyone else im irritated so i go downstairs and change my ticket to a PG-13 movie go back upstairs and he still will not take my ticket . At this point im getting upset i just want to go watch my movie and call it a night . I asked him 6 times to take my ticket in these exact words " i went to change it its a whole new movie can you rip my ticket so i can go " still he holds me and my friend there . I guess someone thats over Daveon seen me getting irritated and told me if i didnt like services i could go and they would give me my money back . BUT she did not say anything about Daveon holding me and my friend back . So i explained to her the situation and she said " well you have to wait for him if he doesnt want to he doesnt want to " so i was beyond upset ( i wasn't yelling or anything though i just had a bigger attitude and didnt ask nicely like i was doing before ) I said " can you rip my ticket already so i can go to my movie cause im bout to hand you the ticket and walk through i paid my money its a PG-13 movie and im 17 theres no need for any more clearance " still he laughed and didnt rip my ticket so i ripped it for him gave him his ripped half and walked to my movie . all he did was laughed and laughed . This should not be the type of services thats should be given i will NEVER come up here again . The fact that the supervisor didnt care that he was toying with me was beyond disrespectful ! Harassing people and what not . also thie is not the first time from what ive heard that daveon was...

Ameripark has been a total nuisance when they changed to the text message system less than a year ago. We have been going to the Hughes Center to watch movies and to eat for many years back when the movie theater was called “The Bridge” In fact I was the bridge theaters first customer to buy a ticket that’s how far back it goes. We would use the valet parking and would get to the theater very quickly and it was a very good personable experience, they knew us and handled the transaction very quickly both leaving the car and picking it up. In spite of the construction we still preferred going to Cinemark and Islands Restaurant. But tonight we reached the end of our patience. Ameripark Valet parking experience has been depressing . You’re just basically a number to them, no smile, no greeting and it takes longer to check in your car as well as pick it up. Tonight however I drove up and was lined up with the other cars because they are slow doing checking in transactions and when they got to me they said they ran out of tickets and could not check in my car. Yet they had 50 empty blocked off spaces with their plastic barriers. Why didn’t they block off the entrance to their check-in lineup? They caused us to be late for the movie and why block off all those spaces if they don’t have enough tickets? This is a stupid operation to say the least. We ended up going to Culver City to the movies. We have made up her mind we are no longer going to go there even though the theater is just around the corner five minutes from my house. Sorry Cinemark all my rewards will probably go on used and I guess will continue going to the Islands Restaurant in the marina. All these inconveniences are probably killing the Hughes Center too bad it used to be a...
