This place has the cleanliness of a shopping area that’s been recently opened (not sure how long they can keep that up). It’s nice to walk around and, if you have a dog, you can walk em around here. Aside from that, there’s really not much else. The only main attractions to this place is a big Trader Joe’s and Regal theaters. Besides that, there’s not much to keep you here. There are a couple restaurants that have yet to open like Silverlake Ramen, but even once they do open, it’ll still be the same thing. Not many people here, which lends it to being a quieter shopping area than most places. And that’s what might set this apart from your average outdoor shopping center. There’s a relaxing vibe sprinkled throughout NoHo West. And I can see this as a nice place for teens to hang out after school. The cleanliness here is also something worth noting. Somehow, they’ve kept this place nearly litter-free. You won’t see bums strolling around with their shopping carts. No graffiti. No smokers polluting the air. It’s all relatively clean. The real annoyance are the idiots who do rev up their souped up muscle cars are the only annoyances. It’s worse in the parking garage as the noise is amplified. If we can get security on that and implement a strict noise rule, it’d get a higher rating. Overall, its a better-than-decent outdoor shopping area. Small, not much to do to fill a day’s worth of your time (or even two hours), but it’s a clean, nearly quiet, almost peaceful...
Read moreCompleted just over a year ago...this mixed use open-air mall is a shopper's utopia in the Los Angeles Valley. With a movie theater, Trader-Joe's, Starbucks, See's Candies, Jersey Mike's, just to mention a few amongst the plethora of other retail establishments and the hundreds of condo/apartments. I say utopia, because just a stone throws away are the LA City streets and sidewalks. Unmonitored(unless you think the NoHo Police Station does any sort of monitoring), where the protected un-housed abound. Unlike these shack-cluttered LA sidewalks, the NoHoWest is private, and can therefore monitor and enforce their own security. Obviously it's effective, not a single noticeable un-housed individual in site! So why the pic of a truck unloading fresh produce for Jersey Mike's in the handicap zone...while simultaneously blocking the wheelchair ramp, two handicap parking spaces, and the pedestrian walkway? Maybe it's to show property management where their next six-figure lawsuit could come from. Either someone trips over that truck ramp and shatters a knee-cap, or a geriactric hip. Or an ADA compliance attorney happens along and catches a glimmer emanating from this legal goldmine. Either would catch attention. My personal preference would be prevention...always cheaper to be pro-active than reactive to impending doom. "Hey security, you may want to...
Read moreThis place has been open for about 2 years now and there still isn't much going on. I honestly do not understand why. Countless of empty spaces just waiting to be rented out yet no one rents them.... Perhaps the property management team has ridiculously high rents, I don't know... Even LA Fitness, This gym was supposed to be up and running well over 1.5 years ago and they still haven't even set up there spot! What's going on here???
What put me over the edge was the "regal" movie theater... These clowns, still asking for vacs cards in order to accept my money for entry.... People, the shot will not stop you from catching it nor will it stop you from passing to the next person so stop with this vacation nonsense already....
Lastly, the Stand and Starbucks are the biggest bread winners here. The Stand has an awesome stand which do not harass your regarding you know what. Food prices are on the higher side but in my opinion it's justified when you see the quality of what you're getting.
Starbucks, This location has the absolute best customer service of any Starbucks within a 10 mile range! They always get the order right and like the Stand, they do not harass you regarding you know what.
Regal, skip this rat hole and go to AMC Burbank, where no one is harassed and your business is appreciated regardless of...
