I agree with the other reviewers, the prices here are overly inflated. Brother's Markets owns and operates several stores throughout Greater Los Angeles. I can not speak to the majority of location prices but regarding the stores in the SKID ROW district of Downtown Los Angeles, prices are even higher than the Major Up-Scale markets such as Whole Foods, Pavillion's, Ralph's, and Gelson's with products found in stores like Foods 4 Less, Ranch Market and Northgate who are the basic needs retail stores of Los Angeles. Last Thanksgiving/Christmas time, 2024 it cost over $8.00 for a quart of Eggnog produced by the area's principal dairy company. That normally sells in markets for less than $6.25. That was higher than the premium brands of Southern Comfort, Altadena, and other select Family Dairys by what I believe to be 20-25% minimum or realistically at least 40% over the area average for identical products. Also nowhere in the market are product prices shown, no shelf labeling by name and description nor individually priced products. Isn't one or the other of those pricing methods...

She wanted to check my bags and assumed I was stealing because I brought my own reusable grocery bags. Shopping here is extremely uncomfortable for anyone but especially if you’re brown since they racially profile. It is sad to see a small business like this be run so poorly and actively treat the local...
