Chase and his team at the SoCal Hyperbaric Oxygen Center have literally changed my life in the last 6-7 months. I was diagnosed with MS 4 years ago after a 10+ year exhausting quest to understand why I never felt well. My symptoms have been debilitating for years, but were never diagnosed accurately - and then when I finally was diagnosed, there wasn't much they could do for me other than a preventative medication to (hopefully) keep me from getting worse. I've done everything to manage daily symptoms. Just to name a few of those strategies, I've done regular physical therapy, acupuncture, pain meds, sleep meds, muscle relaxing meds (all of which made my brain fog even worse), meditation, napping for 3+ hours a day, not working to manage stress and exhaustion, botox in my skull, neck & back muscles for migraines, other monthly injections for migraines ... you name it, I've done it. But since I started going to SoCal HBOT regularly, my daily symptoms have decreased DRAMATICALLY. I'm not claiming to be cured from MS, nor do I assume that'll happen ... but the relief I have from one day to the next makes my life more manageable, predictable and overall simply better. I can actually make plans with friends (and not have to cancel last minute because I'm not feeling well), I can be more present and available for family who needs me, I can enjoy a night out without fear it'll ruin the following day, I can exercise, I can sleep at night consistently - truly, the list goes on and on. I'm not claiming it'll work for everyone with MS, but it has worked for me and best of all, I have zero side effects (unlike the meds that may have helped with pain but debilitated me in other ways). For anyone wondering, I've been exceptionally fortunate in that I've gone a minimum of twice a week since I started. It isn't inexpensive, but HBOT has been a more effective therapy than anything else I've done in the 14+ years I've been struggling from one day to the next.

Read moreI’m so impressed. The staff had been so informative, kind, and generous. I came for a free 30-minute session. I was greeted on the phone by Chase with gratitude that I called. I was given instructions on who to speak to about my questions and Dan promptly returned my call in 5 minutes. He took time to answer my questions and give me a full understanding of what I would expect both of their facility and the benefits I could receive. When I arrived I was received with a thorough orientation and tour of the facility. After Dan gave me a complete explanation of what to expect during the session I crawled inside the chamber. Even after all their guidance I found myself still nervous of how my ears would acclimate. Chase and Dan both were careful with me and kept checking with me. I found it to be much easier than I anticipated. As soon as I reached my pressure I settled in and watched some tv. I found the session relaxing and the time seemed to pass quickly, all the while they kept checking on me. Everything went smoothly as exactly as they described it would. I am so happy to have found this facility. The staff gave me VIP service for a free trial session. I traveled home with vitality and energy and picked up groceries which normally a day out would have me on the couch for the rest of the day. I have decided to purchase a 30-day pass. Thank you everyone! I can’t wait to start!
UPDATE!!! I chose the 30-day pass and I have almost completed it. I was nervous about being strong enough to show up for 2 sessions per day however, I found it to be absolutely the best decision. The entire staff was so kind, informative and knowledgeable. The facility is perfect. It is clean and modern. I was able to have a private room if I needed it while I waited in between my sessions or I was able to eat lunch in a comfortable work area. I am so happy that I found SoCal Hyperbaric Oxygen Center. The staff and facility have met every one of my needs and have supported me every step of the way. I am almost done and I am so excited about the benefits I am...
Read moreI’m sorry to say that I cannot leave a good review about my recent experience there. I was referred there by another Hyperbaric place in Santa Monica because I wanted something closer to home. I actually forfeited my last appointment there and took the loss because it was pre-paid because I actually no longer felt safe going there for medical treatment in the time of Covid. I pre-paid five appointments but for FOUR out of the five visits, there was some type of problem or weirdness. On my first visit it took over three hours which when you’re healing or sick is very challenging. The second visit I walked in and he didn’t have my appointment on the books, i laughed it off as a simple mistake because luckily I was still able to wait a bit while he cleaned out a chamber hastily and I was able to have a treatment anyway. The third time I went was my only glitch free experience, no problems and very pleasant. The fourth visit, the assistant there gave me a blanket in the chamber which reeked of mildew. That started to make me really worry about their Covid compliancy. And how really steadfast they were being about sanitation. In my last appt. once again I was told they didn’t have my appointment on the books. I had the appointment written on my schedule as always and I remembered the conversation distinctly. This time I was told to go home that there was no appointments available after I had driven there in rush-hour holiday traffic. TWO out of five visits they forgot to put me on the schedule. (At my other establishment where I had gone over 10 times this has never happened) I don’t feel comfortable going to a place for medical treatment if there is multiple schedule mis-management and oversight of cleanliness. Chase seems like a very nice person. So I don’t know if they are understaffed or what the problem is. But there is definitely a problem....
