Manager named Jackie was rude and very smug about denying my return which was a few days over 90 days old. Weird that she needed to be on some power trip about something as trivial as a return. I was perfectly polite to her but she tried to make it seem as if I am some scam artist because their system denied my return without a receipt. She tried to accuse me of returning too many items without my receipt. The only reason Iāve ever returned anything without a receipt is because I pay cash sometimes although I usually use my card. I donāt plan or return things so I donāt always save the receipts or if Iām busy they get lost. I live across the street from HD and go almost every day for something. The majority of the things Iāve returned without a receipt were spray paint cans which were obviously brand new i just again lost the receipt. The other guy even seemed to argue with her when they looked at the 3x3 chart of my returns at other store that seemed to show I havenāt even returned that many items and was telling them it was up to them to make the decision. Itās funny I even gave a Home Depot credit card and have since 2005 but they still refused to take my return of 1 item for no good reason other than Jackie who wanted to insist that she is the manager of the store. When I told her I mean that guy in the picture behind me she just ignored it and was like āoh so you have talked to him about returning too many items without a receipt before?ā Like she caught me in some criminal admission. And I told her no I had a different issue, because I did, when I spoke to him and he was much more reasonable than she was being. She smiled at the end all proud of herself for denying my return and holding up a massive line of people who were obviously angry at the unnecessary delay. It seems especially weird I had just seen them taking back what looked like a rusted water heater. It was obviously they just thought I was some scam artist bc I had several other items I was trying to return to which they did find on my card but were more than 90 days old by a few days. I have been busy and havenāt had a chance to get back to return these few items. But basically it just encourages me to go to a different Home Depot to try to return them, have someone else return them for me, waste the time of employees/managers trying to explain the story to them and seeing if they will make an exception. Maybe thereās a way to get the full picture of how much Iāve purchased from the Home Depot and the value of the previous returns so that they have the full picture and people like Jackie on a power trip wouldnāt alienate good customers for their own personal satisfaction. Donāt understand why she is in a leadership position she has poor common sense, issues with certain people/demographics, and also is rude to both customers and dismissive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo whom it may concern,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received from Manager Daisy at your store. I recently rented a carpet cleaner, but the first unit was defective, requiring me to return to the store for an exchange. Although I had rented the machine for only 15 minutes before discovering the issue, I was informed that it was not possible to restart the contract. While this was inconvenient, I accepted it.
However, the second machine I was given also had issuesāit functioned but did not dispense the cleaning solution properly. When I returned to the store to request another exchange, I asked that the machine be tested before I took it, to avoid further inconvenience. Manager Daisy responded with a poor attitude and was uncooperative, stating that the machines had been serviced the previous day and that it was not possible to test the machine before completing a new contract. She also mentioned that I would be charged $35 to cancel the existing contract and start a new one, despite the malfunction being due to the equipment, not my usage.
After a lengthy discussion, Manager Daisy eventually refunded my money but refused to rent me another machine. I have been a loyal customer of this Home Depot location for the past 10 years, and this experience was extremely disappointing.
I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously, and that measures will be taken to improve customer service at this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called the store yesterday at 4 p.m. and spoke to a man who said he was a manager and laid out my issue that I needed to have solved. He promised me a solution and told me to speak to either a manager named John or a manager named Elvis today. I arrived at 1:20 p.m. and neither of those managers were there but I was told Elvis comes in at 2 p.m. so I waited 40 minutes for him to come in and he never showed up. I kept asking individuals for help to see if Elvis was at work yet and finally another manager who seem to have an attitude came up to me and said Elvis is stuck in traffic and he's not there yet. Then this man told me that what they promised me would not happen and he was sure that when Elvis did get there he would tell me the same thing. So ultimately I waited there for an hour and total before this man who identified himself as a manager told me that what the previous person had promised me would not happen. I'm very upset that a solution had been worked out with the previous manager I spoke with yesterday and the two people I was referred to speak to today we're not there when they were scheduled to be there. I'm very upset. I will never come to this location ever again. It just seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and one person promises something and another person says no. Completely backwards....
