I have always received excellent service at any Starbucks location I have visited ! Today however, that was not the case. When I arrived a very nice girl took my order then she was told by another employee she was good to go home. For a moment there weren't many customers then as usual people started to come in again. I ordered 2 coffees and 2 bagels. I usually receive my bagels before my drinks. My two coffees were ready after about 8 minutes however I still hadn't received my bagels I waited another 5 minutes. At this point there were 3 employees 2 women 1 man. One making drinks another taking orders and another putting stickers on some sort of device I'm assuming it was broken. However, this whole time the girl who was making drinks & the man fixing the device were talking. I don't care that they were talking what upset me was that this whole time my bagels were not even out of the plastic wrapping they come in before being put in the oven. The man finally walks over to the 2 bags mind you I have been there for about 14 minutes now and puts the bagels in the oven. My name is Maria, when my bagels were finally done the guy calls out Monica and then I realize it was my bagel. I am not the type of person to complain about anything and everything but I do believe Starbucks has always had nothing but great employees and today that Starbucks did not reflect that. At no point did any employee seem concerned that I had been waiting there for a long time waiting on 2 bagels that they hadn't even prepared yet. Whoever these employees are they need more training I have visited many many Starbucks locations and after years this is my...
Read moreI see all of the friendly comments regarding this location, there is nothing friendly about this location including the district manager Crystal Nelson. Crystal Nelson (Starbucks district manager Los Angeles area) attempted to shove her authority down my throat today but it did not work by telling me that I could not eat in the outside dining area if the food was from a different store. She even went so far to say that she would give me a couple of minutes to finish or she would call the police which Starbucks is known for especially with black customers. Every other Starbucks that I visit I continue to be harassed by repeated knocking of restroom door and attempting to open the restroom door while still being occupied is another issue at several other Starbucks that I have noticed. This issue is more like sexual harassment regarding the restroom excessive knocking and the attempts to open the door, employees need to be informed of this matter. So today was the worst experience as a Starbucks customer that I have observed, with the district manager threatening to call the police for eating in the outside dining area. Today's visit (on Wednesday June 19, 2019) overshadow all of the repeated excessive restroom door knocking and attempted door unlocking at other Starbucks locations. This experience was very embarrassing and humiliating and should not be tolerated. All black executives should not be exempt of bias training and "Starbucks Doing Good" was not my observation today. I'm just waiting to hear back from the...
Read moreDisgusting costumer service.
My mother and I were waiting outside for our Panda Express order, and decided to wait outside the Starbuckscoffe area (which has two umbrellas to get shade from the heat). It was more than 100 ° F outside and we were just standing away from the costumer line; without interfering with the bussines flow. Then, a employee, an Hispanic lady, asked us to move because we were supposed to keep 6 feet distance from people, but we were at a proper distance apart from other costumers. After that, another Starbucks employee came out, this time a black lady, and demanded us to leave the area because it was "private property" and that we "cannot stay in that area". It was a sunny day, more than 100° F outside, standing still waiting for our orders without bothering anyone in the line; and apparently this Starbucks establishment didn't want us there. I even request to purchase something, as the lady mentioned it was private property, but she insisted us to abandon the place.
That's definitely not the way to treat people, specially when the only thing they're doing is finding a place to refuge...
