When I took my two year old daughter, we waited for the doctor, a very thin woman (I specify in case you recognize her), she barely entered to see my daughter and she did not speak to us, she simply asked her assistant to ask my daughter to open her mouth, she never greeted us, she never spoke to my daughter at all, as if we were martians or if she were an eminence for not speaking to her, totally arrogant, when she finished checking her teeth before my daughter closed her mouth, with her sharp tool she touched where my daughter had the cavity, unnecessarily, my daughter made a sound of pain and she left talking to the assistant about the treatment that my daughter needs, terrible treatment, I did not even go to any free program, I paid for the entire consultation with my own money, I do not understand why a pediatric doctor can be so despotic and cruel to a child for no reason without knowing her or ever having seen her before. In conclusion, I went to another clinic assuming I would pay more because I preferred one where they apparently would give better treatment, and it turns out that my daughter's treatment was cheaper than what it would have cost me at this place where this arrogant and terrible doctor works. Aside from the poor treatment of the doctor, this clinic is small without toys, only TV screens and dinosaur walls. I do not recommend it at all. Take your child to any other place where they know how to treat children with love and patience, not mediocre professionals who hate their jobs. Are you seriously messing...
Read moreThe clinic staff is friendly. The doctor is attentive, but barely interacts with patients. That is the only positive point I can note.
However, I am absolutely outraged by what happened during my child’s tooth extraction. The violations of aseptic and antiseptic protocols were blatant, unacceptable, and extremely dangerous: Behavior of the dental assistant • The dental assistant used gloves that, in my observation, may not have been sterile. I cannot be sure of their sterility because visually they did not look like standard sterile gloves. • The gloves were not changed after touching door handles, cabinets, and other non-sterile surfaces. • While preparing instruments (extraction forceps, clamps, glass tools), the working ends of the instruments came into contact with gloves that may not have been sterile. • The assistant freely moved between rooms, opened cabinets, and retrieved materials without changing gloves, and then continued working on the child, exposing the open wound to infection risk. Violation of the child restraint (stabilization device) sterility • A restraint device was used to hold the child during the procedure. It was dirty and clearly not sterile. • The assistant handled this restraint without changing gloves, then immediately continued to work inside the child’s mouth, including manipulating the open wound. • This is absolutely unacceptable! Using the same gloves for contact with a dirty restraint and an open wound creates a very high risk of infection. Behavior of other staff • Previously, I observed other staff using long nails while performing oral manipulations, which also violates basic aseptic and antiseptic rules.
Demand: I demand an immediate review of the sterility protocols and staff training. Violations of this level are unacceptable in a medical facility working with open wounds. If patient safety matters to your clinic, this must never happen again. I expect immediate action because such behavior directly endangers the health and lives of children.
