Worst experience. I wake up in the morning to find that there is no hot water in the bathroom. Called the front desk, a gentleman picks up and assured that a guy is on his way.
Waited for 20 minutes and nobody showed up. Called again, same guy picks up â oh the guy just stepped in, he will be right thereâ. The guy comes and tries to convince me that there is hot water in the bathroom whereas the water was cold. Finally he agreed that there is NO HOT WATER. He said he will be back in 10 mts. Waited for 20 mts but nobody came. Had a meeting at 9 am so had to leave without shower.
Went to the front desk, enquired what is going on. The guy who was not wearing any name tag was EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARROGANT. Instead of being apologetic he said I only called 10 mts ago and it will take another 30 mts before we could have the hot water. I have never had a front desk guy so rude and misbehaved ever.
Next day morning I go to the front desk to find out if they have a business center as I need to use the computer. The same guy at the counter. He questioned me why do I need the computer center? What the hell, what I do at the computer center is none of your business. He would not tell me if there is a computer center there or not until I tell him that I need to check in. He asks which airlines I am traveling through, then he says I can do that over my phone, I said I know but I need to use a computer, thatâs when he told me where is the computer center.
An hour later I go there again to check out. He was having a fun conversation with a lady who was showing him pictures on her phone and they were talking about movies.
Three people standing there to check out. He then announced that people checking out could leave there room keys and leave and he continued to laugh and have his conversation with the lady.
I would never again stay in this hotel NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYONE...
Read morePlease DO NOT stay with this hotel!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had. I booked a room for one night through Kayak and made a phone call to the hotel that I would like to extend my reservation to two nights. The front desk person told me it was done and my reservation was for two nights. I arrived the hotel at 10:30 am on the day of my reservation and was told that the room was not ready yet and they could check in my bag and asked me to come back later. I came back at 10 pm that night and the other front desk person told me my room was gone!!!!!!! 10 pm, single girl in Los Angeles downtown with no room to stay. I even did not get an apology. The front desk person said it was not her that told me that I had a reservation. I asked her to give me the contact info of the person who worked in the morning, and she refused. I asked her to call her manager, and she just texted when she could actually call her. She kept saying that there was not much they could do. I had to be responsible for their fault. They do not have anything they listed on their profile. There is no shuttle service, you have to book through other shuttle agencies. You actually really donât need them to book the shuttle, and you can do it all by yourself. Their internet connection was AWEFULL!! It was extremely slow and always down. The staff was not helpful at all. Their security guy, who was a contractor from other company was really a nice guy and helpful. But their staff are not familiar with their business, not responsible for their mistake, not able to deal with emergencies, not helpful with their customers. Please do not stay with them. The service is so bad, and they do not take responsibility of their fault and they try everything to make themselves look good instead of helping their customers. IT was such a BIG mistake that I chose them. I have never had a...
Read moreNot the worst hotel experience I've had, but definitely down there. Our AC didn't work and they didn't fix it for the five days we stayed after letting them know. It wasn't super hot or anything but opening the window to cool it down at night meant we had to hear everyone talking on the street, every car with a loud muffler, etc. It's a noisy street.
The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. I stay in 6-7 hotels a year and I've never felt worse sleeping at a hotel than I do sleeping at home before. The pillows were SO lumpy.
We checked in with the virtual person. I think it's a really cool feature, knowing people that work in hotels and knowing how hard it can be to be the only person on staff as night audit or during check in, so having a virtual person to hang out at the front desk is smart, so if you have to take care of something you can. Unfortunately, while we checked in they got disconnected and we didn't fully finish the check-in process. The guy physically there made sure it went through, but didn't follow through with stuff like telling us how to connect to the wifi and asking if we needed to add any other names to the room (which we hadn't really thought of) but that ended up being detrimental because the next day I got locked out of the room and had to call my partner, they had to leave the event we were in town for and uber back to get the front desk to get me a new room key. It was extremely inconvenient and cost us an unexpected $25.
The hot breakfast was tasty though and I love their pancake machine. The way they cut oranges seemed a little wasteful (they were cored like apples for some reason) and the apples were only marginally better than red delicious.
The room was surprisingly spacious.
I wish I had spent the extra $15 a night to stay somewhere nicer. I will not be staying here again next...
