Ethan Allen — Attraction in Louisville

We had the pleasure of working closely with Tracy Tolone as a designer from Ethan Allen to help inform our decision-making process in making a home out of our newly acquired living spaces. We recently moved from life in the Caribbean to Clearwater, Florida. Our initial plans were to leave mostly everything behind, except for pieces of artwork in the form of paintings we had collected over the years. We were looking for an arrangement of furniture that would accommodate our immediate needs of settling in to our new home, but ultimately realized, with Tracy Tolone’s keen eye, that many of our lively pieces of art could set beautiful tones and contrasts that would help guide our decisions. We were so pleased to come to that realization that what we had brought with us could match the modern lines and themes that could be created with just the right prescription of pieces, using color, light and form to find the perfect combination. Tracey Tolone was so patient with us in every step of the way, designing spaces that not only exceeded a room’s functional expectations, but that simultaneously expressed a theme which celebrated what we held dear esthetically, while staying true to our budgetary projections. There was intent in the selection of every piece that is now in our home and we never dreamt comfort could be so beautiful, nor that textures, lighting and arrangement could make us fall in love with our home all over again. We are so pleased with Tracy Tolone’s input, openness and clarity of advice when we needed it. We are absolutely pleased with the outcome of our new home’s look and have been told by many people that the quality of our new furniture will stand the test of time. This was our first time having a designer work in our entire home from top to bottom and are walking away from the experience highly recommending Tracy Tolone to anyone looking for the right guidance. I have shopped at Ethan Allen for the past ten years. I love the quality and craftsmanship of their furniture. I also enjoy working with their design team to help create the perfect space. I just recently redecorated my bedroom and of course Ethan Allen, located on Shelbyville road in Louisville Ky was the only place for me to go to create the bedroom of my dreams. Carissa Harrison greeted me when I walked in. I had seen her there many times before but I never had the pleasure of working with her. I told her exactly what I was looking for, she listened to all of my wants and helped me to pick out the perfect pieces for my bedroom. She is very knowledgeable and very attentive to her clients needs. Carissa helped me from the beginning to the end of this process. She was even kind enough to come to my home after my furniture was delivered to hang pictures, curtains and a Fandelier that she helped find to add the finishing touches to my lovely bedroom. I really enjoyed working with her. Carissa Harrison is by far the absolute best designer I have ever worked with!!!!! The only downside to this experience was the smell coming from the barbque restaurant next door. The smell was horrible it made me sick to my stomach. It truly made it difficult for me to remain in the store to find the best items...

Have browsed at Ethan Allen for years put never made a purchase. Never previously felt comfortable with the sales people. That changed this year. Was just casually looking and was approached by Carrisa Harrison. Carrisa immediately placed us at ease and offered to show us around. She took the time to look at photos of our existing furniture which helped her guide us in ways to improve our surroundings. She took the floor plans of the house we are building and was able to show us optimal placement of furniture. She was very patient as we choose fabrics, helping us coordinate various pieces.

As I said earlier, we were just in the store casually looking. Because Carrissa took the time to learn about us, that casual trip turned into the purchase of two sofas, two chairs (with fabric we would have never chosen biu they look great) two sets of custom pillows and 3 bar stools.
