My experience with Relax The Back was OUTSTANDING, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking help with back pain. My main reason for going to Relax The Back in the first place is a pinched nerve between L4-L5, causing unbelievable, excruciating pain in my right leg. It's with me 24/7, and I spend my days and nights trying to put my leg in a position that will relieve the pain, a task of which I have been only partially successful. Part of this challenge is sleeping. It was impossible to sleep in our bed, so I tried an old recliner of ours. But it, too, proved to be so difficult that my dear wife searched the web for alternatives. In this search, she found Relax The Back. Upon going there, we met Jen Marshall, the owner. She was so nice, and she explained everything about her products, which were chairs, beds, and myriad ergonomic devices for people like me. We purchased The Perfect Chair (the actual name). Delivery was same day! Great service all around. That night I slept in my new chair and it allowed me to put my leg in a relatively pain-free position. And for the first time in six weeks, I had a good night's sleep. I awakened refreshed and energized. Now I sleep in The Perfect Chair every night as I await further treatment. My wife tells people that I'm a different person when I get up in the morning. I give Relax The Back "5-Stars PLUS" for their products. The store itself is well laid out, and shopping for and testing different models is easy. And I can't say enough about Jen. She knows her products extremely well and she enthusiastically describes their features and answers your questions. I rate her as "5-Stars PLUS" as well. It is my pleasure to post this review. This is probably only the second online review I have ever placed which speaks to my opinion. I have punched three mattresses from this store over the course of many years. Everything that you’d think is true. The store is clean, gorgeous. The products are very high end. But what sets this store apart from the others, for me, are the people that are there. First purchase, they were so kind and helpful but I thought maybe I just lucked out. Second, wow, they people are just really great. Third purchase, I wasn’t only purchasing a bed, I was ill in palliative care and they made me feel that I was the center of everything they were thinking about to help me find the bed that would help me finally get some rest. When you’re that sick, your bed can be your life and it was clear, they knew how important this was. It is clear to me that, not only do they know their products through and through, carry very high integrity and honesty. They most importantly, cared about me as a person and put doing whats right for me at the top of everything that they were doing. And, I should point out that I was referred there from someone else to begin with which assures me that they treat everyone this way. As as physician myself, I have no reservation in telling that if you or someone you care about are having issues with you back, neck, pain, issues sleeping, or any issue with your bedding, seating, posture, or any number of issues, you won’t regret walking into those doors. I bought 2 "Relax the Back" Chairs 20+ years ago. They were bare bones and manual, but we enjoyed them and they lasted...until they got ruined in the Florida Hurricane home flooding.

My husband has back issues with a spinal fusion and spinal cord stimulator so it was imperative that he have a comfortable chair. We splurged and bought one chair...this one was a nice upgrade to our old chairs; electrical and air massage.

I found myself using his chair any chance I got, so he talked me into buying my own chair. It became a priority over buying furniture. I now cannot imagine sitting in a regular chair.

At first, I was not real crazy about the air massage but later learned to use it differently. Previously I tried it when I was in supine position which made it more forceful. Now I use it in the OG position which is more sitting up and I have learned to love it. I use that every time.

When I first started looking for a company to buy from, not everyone I spoke with could answer all my questions. I ran across Jen Marshall, owner in Louville Kentucky who was a great help and had all the answers. I ended up buying the first and second chair from her and would highly recommend that company.
