Hillview Peddler's Mall — Attraction in Louisville

I've always enjoyed going to this flea market over the last several years when we are in town from Texas. We come in frequently. My last visit today may be my last. The women running the register was both rude and appeared to have no respect for excellent customer service. I'm recovering from GBS and it take a lot of effort for me to handle heavy items. I purchased 4 old windows and brought them to the counter. I put them against the counter for when it was my turn to check out they would be right there. The rude lady was checking someone out to the left of the register and no one else was in line. The customer in line were at least 5 feet from where the windows were placed which to the right of the register The rude lady started protesting where I had placed the heavy windows. I had already carried them from one side of the store to the counter and had to stop numerous times to make it. She demanded that I move them and hold them in line with me. This would be very difficult for me with my medical condition and disability. She continued to argue and had no compassion whatsoever. Peddler's Malls are is a chain of flea markets that fall somewhere between antique mall and yard sale.

This particular location seems to be one of the busiest in Louisville. It is one of my favorites because its good size (several aisles of booths). Because anyone can rent a booth and sell whatever, the majority of items inside will sometimes shift toward a giant yard sale or even a thrift store. And at times, the place can seem like an antique mall with inexpensive prices.... and great finds. Its one of those places that you might hate one month and love the next.

Like many PMs, this one is in an old, pre-Supercenter Walmart building. The men's restroom is a little spooky... it may be clean, but it is usually so dimly lit that I can't tell. I think the stalls...

Great place to find second hand Goods at decent prices usually. Some of the reviews on here are a little unfair. Keep in mind this is a Peddlers Mall it is what it is. I go there once a week and just walk around kill time look around and you never know what you will find. As for employees they have always been very polite with me. In regards to one review on here if you claim to be in management at your job you should know better than to break the rules by bringing in a huge bag and taking it into the restroom with you. And if they ask to look in it when you do this it should not be a surprise to you. This...
