Best Shoe Selection In Louisville Area in my opinion if you're looking for Jordans, and Nikes and other tennis shoes. Always have the newest releases and constantly releasing new shoes pretty often. Great selection of UK AND UL team sports apparel if you're a local sports fan best place for the prices for your favorite teams gear. Even get a Tattoo while you're shopping, not sure about their artists but just an example of the wide variety of options here. Mall targets the younger "hip-hop" culture mainly in my opinion, still have nice stores if u need a suit and tie and dressy type clothing such as Macy's, JC Penny and couple other high end clothing stores, Tuxedo rentals and prom dress rentals available as well. Very good for wide range of options for every age and style, like I said mainly targets teenage to 20's age group but still has at least 1 or more options for any style and age I can think of at least, also high class HIGH price stores, and LOW PRICE BARGAIN shopping as well Like PayLess Shoes. Middle of Mall has a lot of little booth type stores wouldn't recommend getting the phone cases unless u have certain phones like the newest I Phone or Galaxies. Other cases very small selection if they even have any At all and they will break the first time u try to take it off the phone, One sells Brand Name AUTHENTIC COLOGNES AND PERFUMES and phone cases and I just got a 50-60 dollar bottle of Curve For Men for $40 and she marked that down to $35. NOT THE IMITATION "OUR VERSION OF CURVE" AUTHENTIC curve in case and all, thought that was great buy considering The Macy's 1 MIN away sells the same bottle for close to double the price. Couple nice Jewelry stores Kay, Zales, if u need a ring to pop the question. Book store Music and Movie store Sears super store with everything from Riding Mowers and vehicle services to clothing and home goods. Only a couple downfalls I can think of in my own opinion would be the food court selection, not a wide variety and not the greatest places in the few u have to choose from, they have made it nicer and much larger the last couple years though. The Chinese Food closest to the exit is by far the best selection, and very cheap, ALWAYS order to go even if u plan on sitting down and eating the servings are MUCH MUCH larger that way, I get two different meals that way. You won't miss it either cause the "sample sample" lady as she is called in Louisville will stick a sample on a toothpick and scream "SAMPLE SAMPLE" if u come close to it, dead serious, she even has her own FB page created by someone other than herself called The Sample Sample Lady at Jefferson Mall, she is famous in Louisville for that, but really if u enjoy Chinese get that one the other one is higher and not nearly as good. Mall is kinda small, not tiny by no means, but not largest mall either, also has began to be known for teens and young adults using the mall for their personal hang out, and shoplifting, stealing from customers inside and in the parking lot, but ur safe and kids are safe too Security is constantly riding around outside and they will harass the hang outters and make them leave if they 're loitering too long, LOSS prevention in stores stepped up BIG time lately thwarting shoplifters attempts, just make sure u lock ur doors, and keep purses and belongings close to your personal space and don't give them an easy opportunity, not strong arm or armed robberies I've heard of in a long time since they have established A SOLID Security team outside to prevent it. Of course if you're way too HIGH CLASS and scared and all that there is another Mall in the East end of Louisville called St Matthews and Another called Oxmoor virtually right next door to one another. Very wealthy end of the City and 360° different from Jefferson Mall, way bigger and targets the high...
Read moreI tried reaching out to mall management with a complaint about one of the kiosk vendors today but the form on their website isn't working and they don't have a contact email, so I'll put it here instead. Early today, while walking through this mall, I had an off-putting experience with one of the kiosk vendors that I felt I should make known to mall management. I was walking past the Deep Sea Cosmetic kiosk, when the vendor grabbed me by the hand, turned me around and placed a sample product into my hand. He did not ask me or even address me at any point before this. HE DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK TO ME BEFORE TOUCHING ME. He just grabbed me (while I was walking alone through the mall), put the loose product into my hand (despite my raising concerns about allergens because I have severe topical allergies to many products). He then steered me over to the kiosk. He offered to do a demonstration with the product and I declined. At this point, he directed me to put my hands over a bowl so he could remove the product he had put there. Once I was there, he proceeded with the demonstration anyway. He would not listen to my repeated refusal or my questions about allergies. After drying my hands off, he proceeded to ring me up for products that I had not asked for and had refused many times--MORE THAN $100 IN PRODUCT THAT I HAD OUTRIGHT REFUSES. I continued to refuse and--after attempting to persuade me by lowering the price--he then slammed the register closed and began to make rude comments about my clothes and appearance. The experience made me extremely uncomfortable, and I feel this goes beyond the line of just a pushy salesman. There is no reason that salesman should be grabbing women--by their hand or otherwise--as they are walking alone through the mall. I clearly refused the demonstration and the product MANY times (to the extent that a salesperson at another kiosk nearby ended up interceding and asking the man to leave me alone) but he persisted. My hands are now very irritated and sore. Fortunately, the reactions I have are normally only topical, but that may not have been the case for...
Read moreI like many stores in this mall but I don’t feel comfortable going into this mall. The reason I don’t feel comfortable is because in two separate ocasiones I have been treated unfairly because of a unknown reason. I have been accused that I MIGHT steal something without giving any reason for the employee to assume that. One ocasión my two year old grabbed a Teddy bear and as she was showing the bear to me an employee asked if I was going to buy it and if I wasn’t I needed to put it back. I asked if there was a problem with my daughter showing me the teddy bear and she said that security will suspect of me if I don’t purchase it. I then responded to her that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy it for her because she literally had just showed me the bear and I don’t automatically buy everything she touches but if I don’t I assure you I will put it back. She kept insisting that security will assume something and just so I could keep looking around I bought my daughter the bear. The Second ocasión I was walking out of a store and an employee literally speed walks up to me and tells me she needs to check the bottom of my stroller, I let her because of course I have nothing to hide and then she lets me go. I did complain after both ocasiones but I do believe that the employees need better training. For this reason is that I greatly prefer to shop at Oxmore or St Mathews mall where everyone is always very kind and helpful. I have never been treated this way other then at Jefferson mall. I have never stolen anything and I don’t need to prove that in order to be able to shop freely and comfortably. I just don’t think that anyone should be accused of maybe thinking of stealing something when they’ve only been in the store a few seconds. This is the three star reason but I do like the stores and I do still go once in a while but I do think they need to be...
