Lauren truly has a passion for brides and wedding dresses. She helped me pick out the perfect dress!!! I think she knows brides better then they know themselves, the dress she picked out for me I would have never picked out for myself but the gasp in the room when I walked out in it told me that it was THE ONE!! Lauren is a designer at heart so she realizes that not every dress off the shelf is exactly your vision. She will take the time to pin on lace to show you what a new neckline would look like or will hold a different skirt over a dress to show you what it might look like to add a tulle to a dress. She will do everything she can to explain how you can customize a dress to make it yours. She takes the time to get to know each and every bride individually so that you walk out feeling like not only do you have the perfect dress but a new friend! She makes the experience really personal and tailored to each and every bride! Most of her dresses are all off the rack so there are dresses there from nearly every designer from Maggie Sottero to Faragé Collections at amazingly discounted prices. She is adding several orderable lines in the coming months and she personally goes to New York bridal week to pick out each and every new designer and new dress that comes into her store. I cannot say enough great things about Lauren and her bridal gown shop! Before coming to Abeille Bridal, I had been to several larger bridal shops in the Fort Collins area. My experience at those locations was less than stellar - I felt more like a bridesmaid than a bride. From the moment I walked through the door of Abeille Bridal, I knew I was in for an amazing experience. Lauren made me feel very comfortable by asking me questions about my vision for the big day and what I was looking for in a wedding dress. She was very helpful in showing me a variety of styles that complemented my body type while also remaining true to my personality. I tried on many beautiful dresses. Lauren asked me my thoughts after each one to help me narrow down what I really wanted in a dress...and then I found the one! Unfortunately, I went to the shop without any of my bridal party or my mom. I knew that my mom needed to be a part of this experience, so after explaining this to her, she set me up an emergency appointment for the same day. When I came back with my mom that evening, Lauren pretended not to have met me before, as we arranged, and walked through the process all over again so that my mom would feel like she had helped in choosing my dress. Lauren was very strategic in presenting the dress that I wanted so that my mom would love it, too. Long story short, I walked out with a happy mother, my dream wedding dress, and all of the matching accessories to accompany my vision. This place is absolutely amazing! I was so happy I found this place when I was dress shopping! It's beautiful inside and there is such an amazing selection of wedding dresses. I felt her stock was way better than places like David's Bridal. She is so clever and fun to work with. She has great vison with helping you create your perfect dress! I got my dress from there and am doing a lot of custom work to it and she has been amazing to work with! I felt she understood all of what I wanted in my dress and was able to help me envision it with material at her shop. Her seamstress she works with that will do the alterations as well as the added custom work is amazing as well! I felt she was very knowledgeable and extremely good at her job! She knows exactly how to do the sewing and work needed to make your dress fit amazing! I also love the fact that I get to be apart of the WHOLE alterations process. You go in a couple times to see the progress of your alterations so that you know how its coming along and if any changes need to be made. I love this so much better than just your dress being sent off and hopping to love it when it comes back in. This process allows for me to make sure my dress will be exactly how I want for my wedding! If your still dress shopping and in this area, I highly recommend you stop here!
