Service was the worst. The first time I went to inquire about their services, the girl at the desk explaining to me the options stopped through the conversation and just scrolled on social media. I left and shouldn't have come back. I came back the next day and the girl that talked to me this time was pretty nice and helpful so I thought maybe I had caught them before on a bad day with a bad employee. I tried to schedule the appointment for them to come connect my wifi multiple times and every time they stood me up. "A technician will be there this afternoon, between 1-3pm. Yes ma'am we apologize for them not showing up yesterday. There's no evidence of an appointment scheduled for you" 3 DAYS IN A ROW. The second time, they made me go to the store to pick up the equipment. When the technician got here, he was so confused when I told him about the equipment they made me go pick up. He didn't even use it because it was the wrong one. We can't have fiber on this side of town but they didn't even care enough to check. After one more call and being stood up again, the man finally shows up and you could already tell he'd rather be anywhere else in the world but there. He asked and I told him where we wanted our router and then he was about to drill a hole AND install a box next to my entrance door!!! Thankfully I noticed and asked him nicely if he was going to put it on the other side of that same room as we had discussed and he treated me like I was stupid. Apparently that was the easiest way to get the router to the side of the room where we wanted which would've required us to have long cables across a whole room. I told him I did not want a box that size right next to my entrance door or cables traveling that far in my living room and tried to work out somewhere else. Now I have a whole bunch of cables and two devices on my bedroom floor with no idea on how to hide them and keep them from collecting dust. I called my husband crying in frustration, unfortunately he couldn't leave work but was livid. I asked this man if we could at least move it ourselves and he said no, and that maybe we could ask the company to send someone else that might be willing to put it on the wall that we had discussed initially because he didn't want to. I was so close to asking this man to leave my house but I had already paid a deposit and they had left us with no wifi for so long already. I wish I had gone with another company. I have to look at the box from my kitchen window every time I wash the dishes and the devices on my bedroom floor and I just get mad all over again....
Read moreI did away with my xfinity tv and just had the amazon firestick to save money. My husband wanted xfinity back, so I called them on February 17, 2022. I ordered a plan and my equipment came in a couple of days. They sent me the old legacy box instead of the X1 that I was promised. I found this out when the representative on the phone could not activate my equipment. He promised to expedite my new equipment and also honored my request to get a $99 package online with more channels and faster internet. I was pleased, but that didn't last long. The new order was placed on February 21, 2022. I never received the equipment. On Friday, March 4, 2022. I called and complained and threatened to cancel the service that I hadn't received yet. The lady promised to overnight the equipment and got me a $60 discount ($29 dollars was to "expedite" my equipment promised on Saturday. It arrived today, March 7, 2022. It is also an older box dated "2012". I am a christian and my patience is definitely being tested. What I really want to do is send this back and forget it. I found my "old" xfinity box that had never been sent back. I told the lady on Friday that I would return it because she wanted to charge me for two boxes. Turns out, my "old" box is newer than the one they sent me. The remote they sent is also the old version that you cannot speak into. My "old" remote is the one that you do speak into. I tried to hook my old equipment back up and of course it doesn't work. It will have to be programmed to the other box. Xfinity, your customer service leaves little to be desired. Why have you sent me old equipment twice? Because I am trying to get the internet package? After my phone call last night, I was promised a technician will come today free of charge. The lady on the phone said that the customer service I have received was unacceptable. She also said she thought it was "UPS" messing up the order? I have to say that I called Xfinity and got an idea of what they had to offer but was very confused by everything she was telling me.I wanted to start up with internet and wifi. I also needed to get a new phone because I lost my other one. I had never been an Xfinity customer before and knew nothing about the services. Mosies was the gentleman that helped me.He set me up with the internet and wifi but never mentioned the cost or if there were any packages I could pick from. Same with the phone. I picked a Google pixel and he did say it was the best. Again no mention about a plan and if I want unlimited or not. They did not have the phone in stock and had to have it shipped to me. Mosies said to bring it back so they could set it up. I wasn't happy because it was an hour trip one way to the store. I returned with the phone and again lucked out with a short wait due to the fact that there were 4 employees working and I was the the 6th person. The lady who helped me set up the phone was very polite and professional but we were constantly interrupted by about 15 other customers coming in and she had to take their names to be signed in. I mentioned that my previous phone company had a computer set up as you walked in for people to sign in. These people had to stand while they waited. I said that they needed more seats in a big area where they had nothing.She told me they are a sales store and we aren't supposed to deal with all the other issues people were coming in for.
