Firehouse Subs Wards Rd — Restaurant in Lynchburg

First time ever visiting and trying a sub from Firehouse Subs. Was impressed with the quality of ingredients and portion sizes. I believe it was Violette that rang up my order, the lady with blond hair that was working on 11/21/24. Either way, I want to make sure I give credit where credit is due. She was a great example of customer service and was personable. She is really good at what she does and made solid recommendations. I felt like a valued customer. She represents Firehouse Subs well and is polite, friendly, and helpful. In fact, the other employees that were working there on the line making the subs were really polite too. The young man that handed my sandwiches to me and the guy that double checked what cookies I ordered were very helpful and kind. They might not think anything of it, but to me, I left with my take out feeling very impressed with not only the quality subs but with the quality people! I went too Firehouse Subs yesterday for a jerk chicken sub and to also take advantage of the free medium sub with purchase of a medium or large sub combo for the first week of January. At first the workers didn’t know what I was speaking about when I brought up the promotion even though it was plastered all over online and they work there. Then one of the workers attempted to tell me that I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the promotion because I bought my sub combo online as if that somehow makes a difference . They seemed disgruntled that I requested the additional free sub as promised and when I attempted to eat the sub later on in the night the sub didn’t even taste good as if the sandwich was half way made. Ultimately this isn’t the service I was expecting...

I normally love Firehouse and I've eaten at different ones in different states and have always found them to be amazing until today! I sent my husband 48 min to pick up an online order for the family. I specifically stated "No Coleslaw" but my sandwich came loaded with it and there was almost no meat or cheese on a sub that's supposed to have 3 different meats and extra cheese that I paid for! My husband and daughter's sub also had almost no meat! I paid 40.00 for 3 subs that put together wouldn't even put the amount of meat that is supposed to be on 1 sub!! Never again will I use this Firehouse Rest. People behind the counter are rude as well! Definitely don't recommend this restaurant, but if you want decent Firehouse, the one in Forest is...
