I stopped in during a non peak time and the staff seemed frazzled. There were multiple items that were not available, and was told there would be a wait. I was then told that the item was not available and they would not be able to make the beef and broccoli. There was a lot of yelling from the service line to the staff cooking on the back line but there wasn't much communication going on. They had plenty of egg rolls on the line, and the cooks were making even more. This was frustrating to the front line staff.
The egg rolls are the equivalent to the off brand grocery store frozen egg rolls. Even at that they were over cooked and very crunchy, no to mention they seemed to have went past their viable sell time under the heat lamp.
The cream cheese wontons were the typical frozen grocery store item. Actually, they were worse. There was cream cheese in them but it had no flavor. There was colorful things blended in but with no flavor. They were merely warm. The cooks continued to shout and sing but weren't hearing the front line asking for needed food to be started.
The teriyaki chicken had bone pieces in it. I get it, chicken has bones, and things happen, but these were pretty big pieces considering. The seasoning had a very American swing to it. The breaded chicken was more breading then chicken. The shrimp were for sure cooked well done - and very tough. I'm not sure if this was from the initial cook, or because it sat there under the heat lamp for an extended time. Either was it was tough like leather. That being said, you would think that dry food would be served with sauce options of some sort. No soy, yum yum, duck, or hot sauce available.
The sizzling shrimp is for sure not sizzling!
They portion way more of the side item be it rice or chow-mein instead of the main course. You get a main side item, with a 'side' of the selected entrée.
Staff was friendly, and it was clean for the most part. This was my first, and likely last visit to the...
Read morePanda express.on Wards Rd in Lynchburg. August 30th at 5:36 pm I placed an in person Togo order. The order included four bigger plates. When I got home with my order there were only three bigger plates. I called and spoke with a man that said he was the manager. I told him I was already home and he said he would fix.it in the system and asked me for the order number which I provided from the receipt. Today in September 4. Five days have passed and the refund has still not been issued. I have called multiple times and the phone just rings and rings until the AI picks up and tells me to call back. Horrible experience. Now I have to take time out of my day to drive back out there to make sure they fix their mistake. Displeased to say the last.

Just got home with four bigger plates. This is NOT two orders of tarryaki! (See included photo). This is the third time! I forgot to review the second time it happened, and I don't remember the date. Three consecutive visits I got less food than I paid for. The second time, when I got home to of my bigger plates only had two entrees. This is the last time. I won't go back!
July 26, 2025. Just got home with four bigger plates. Two of them only had two entrees. I literally pointed at what I wanted, and said it out loud, and two of my bigger plates are missing an entree. If you don't stand there and watch them put your food in the box they will short you, and I don't go there freq enough to remember. I spent $81.00 tonight, and they shorted my order. Man, that really...
Read moreI like Panda Express food I used to go for lunch when I worked near by, well the other day I went back after a while and introduced my family to it. We took our food to go and it was good also they gave us a lot of food. I did notice the lady serving our food had a pile of online orders which I thought it was ridiculous. I mean the line was to the door we are in front of her, but she was busy filling this orders. I’m assuming some of them were for Uber eats or Dashdoor, but we were there in a huge line and only one person serving. I understand places are running with a low amount of employees, but If I was them I will take care of the people in front of me first and then do the online orders. Another thing we noticed was the food was running out continuously the chef needs to pay attention of what they need up front because the lady kept on screaming what kind of food she needed. I mean it was awful and forget about the tables they were dirty. On our second visit we saw customers cleaning the tables themselves, we went to sit outside and it was worst tables were sticky, the napkins were out, can they hire at least a teenager to clean tables and refill supplies? I mean it was awful and here I was recommending this place to my family and friend. On our second visit we dine in and they gave us half the food than when we ordered to go. I mean the food is good very good, but they are slaking in terms of customer service...
