H Mart in Lynnwood is a popular Asian grocery store known for its wide selection of fresh produce, high-quality meats, seafood, and a variety of Korean and other Asian products. Here are some highlights of shopping at this location: Pros: ✔ Great Selection: You’ll find a diverse range of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian groceries, including snacks, sauces, noodles, and fresh produce. ✔ Fresh Meat & Seafood: A well-stocked meat and seafood section, often fresher than many mainstream grocery stores. ✔ Food Court: There’s a food court inside with delicious Korean dishes, such as hot stone bibimbap, Korean fried chicken, and dumplings. ✔ Bakery & Desserts: You can get fresh pastries, mochi, and other sweet treats. ✔ Large Parking Lot: Plenty of parking spaces make it convenient for shoppers. Cons: ❌ Can Be Crowded: Especially on weekends, the store can get busy. ❌ Prices May Be Higher: Some items may be a bit more expensive compared to other Asian markets. ❌ Limited Non-Korean Products: While they carry a variety of Asian groceries, it’s more focused on Korean products. Overall, H Mart in Lynnwood is a great place for anyone looking for authentic Asian ingredients and delicious ready-to-eat food.

I really wanted to love this place, because they have the largest selection of produce, meats, and seafood, but too many times is their produce, and now even their seafood expired, moldy and/or rotten. They sell so many expired products that it's sometimes impossible to find anything that's not expired, mainly in the produce area. In these cases, I have to chose between leaving empty handed, or going home with old, wilted/bruised produce (which is already on the verge of getting moldy). But hey, don't take my word for it, see for yourself, or see the pictures I took. Yes, that's mold on those peppers, and yes, it's a common occurrence (at least lately). Just today, I realized that I was not paying attention when I bought a salmon filet (because you can't trust that just because something is on the shelf, that it's necessarily still good) and it turns out to be several days expired, and it already smells revolting. $13 as well as my dinner in the trash. These pictures were taken on 12/5. As you can see from the expiration dates, most of these items expired between 11/21 and 11/29.

This store has everything. This is my one stop shop for groceries and interesting finds globally. You’ll find delicious and affordable ready to eat meals here as well. The meat and fish section is out of this world with so many options. Great service with cutting fresh fish to your choice. I have found new snacks and sweets that my family now loves and look forward to enjoying. I love all the international options for snacks, meals, fresh and frozen ingredients, drinks, alcohol, ready made foods, sushi variety, kimchi variety. Should I mention their ready to eat meals are always rotating so you’ll always find something new and delicious to eat. I always look forward to getting their ready made meals cos of all the new options I find, try, and love. I’ve also found unique fruits and vegetables here that I have never seen in other grocery stores. Try their new drinks you see here and you’ll be surprised as to how much you’ll come to like it. H mart will continue to be my go too. Please visit this store whenever you have the chance and thank me later. Don’t forget their bakery which has one of the most unique and delicious...

I was a former long time customer of H-Mart in Lynnwood as I am also familar with the Bellevue & Federal Way locations. In the recent years, H-Mart Lynnwood has gone extremely downhill:

  1. Store is dirty: Lynnwood location has serious sanitation issues as the floors are messy, parking lot is littered with garbage, and putrid smell lingers around the seafood area.

  2. Unsafe/Disorganized: When you enter building and within the indoor courtyard where other small shops exists, they literally have 8 feet high stacks of crates piled high against the wall containing boxes of grocery items that haven't been unpacked. I am sure I don't have to check with the Lynnwood Fire Dept that this is a fire hazard/code violation and they can potentially tumble over causing injury & block critical exits during an emergency.

  3. Angry staff: Many of the restocking staff are very rude and give awkward stares to customers.

I've been to the Bellevue & Federal Way locations and both of them are operated very well and clean. However with the concerns of safety, sanitation, and overall poor experience, I cannot recommend the Lynnwood...
