I have endless amounts of great things to say about Planet Bluegrass, but I'll try to keep it short. My wife and I are originally from NY and when we decided to have our wedding out here we knew we wanted to give people that "ahhh this is Colorado" experience. This venue was the first one we did a tour of, and every venue after that we just knew it didn't hold up. We had so many people tell us how beautiful every inch of the land was. And the running water during the ceremony was so peaceful and calming. The pavilion comfortably sat 140 people and had plenty of space for the dance floor. The bridal suites were spacious and had all the amenities needed. I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Amy. This woman is a beast. She answered all 1k of my questions (sorry Amy) and quickly. She was THE fastest point of contact person for any vendor that we inquired with or worked with over this 2 year planning process. She was patient, professional and accommodating; and was a big factor as to why we chose this venue. You're a real one Amy. Overall 100/10 for Planet Bluegrass, we are SO grateful to have gotten married at this venue. Thank you to...
Read moreMy parents and I have been going for 20 years. We love the music and the experience. We have had some poor moments here and there with the staff, but this year we were REALLY disappointed with the parking staff. After spending thousands of dollars on tickets, food, and parking passes, we were turned away from their main parking lot when there were hundreds of spots still open. When we tried to speak to one of the parking lot workers, we were yelled at and treated very poorly. We were only trying to park my pregnant wife and 2 babies. He would not give us a reason why hundreds of spots were still open and families and cars were still being turned away. Instead, we were sent to the parking lot that was over a mile away and promised a shuttle later after the show. There was NO SHUTTLE. My pregnant wife and I had to walk back in the dark for over thirty minutes to find our car. There was only one sign to get us there. We had a wonderful time with our family over the weekend, but experiences like this make us not want to support this business or waste our money. Very disappointed with the lack of care and empathy from the...
Read moreAttended a fairytale wedding here Labor Day Weekend. Set back from the highway and surrounded by a colorful mountain side, running stream and lush natural greenery this venue lets you escape the real world for a few hours. As natural as it is there are structures that appear to be an old rustic barn and a few out buildings, which are actually well maintained facilities to provide modern comfort for the guests. The barn is a dining and dancing hall with beautiful flowers, lighting and plenty of power to host a large band. The out buildings include a bar and very well maintained and clean restrooms. It was a warm day, but there is plenty of shade. You can walk a lot and explore if you want, but visiting the main areas does not require a lot of walking. I have nothing negative to report. I loved this place! Even though I was not the one getting married, there was a moment when the sun was going down and a cool breeze blew on my face and it...
