Went in at 9:20, ordered a beer, a glass of wine, a slice of pizza and a calzone. After waiting 25 minutes, we walked back inside to ask what the status of our food was and the employee near the ovens said that he didn’t have a ticket for our food. He told us to ask the person who took the order. The person who took our order was chatting with a person who worked in the kitchen. The person who took our order deferred to the person he was chatting. The kitchen employee then claimed that our pizza was in the oven and that it would be another 10 minutes. This was a lie, and we are sure of it because the first person we asked initially opened the ovens and confirmed that there was not any food in oven.
We told the person who lied and said that our food was in the oven that someone else confirmed that there wasn’t any food in the oven and he claimed that there is another kitchen where they make the pizza. This was also a lie and was evident by the pizza he was throwing in the oven as he said all of this.
If the kitchen employee had taken accountability of the mistake, this would have been a completely different interaction - instead, he decided to lie to us and pretend that it was someone else’s fault.
This was an unpleasant experience with terrible customer service. The employees seem to be more focused on hanging out with one another rather than providing reasonable customer service.
I would not recommend this...
Read moreWould love to rate the food on its own as being great, we were excited to finally get to eat here but they forced our stay to be a short one. We spent well over $100 on a meal for 2 and we kept trying to enjoy it despite a little sprinkle of rain. Then had multiple servers come by and try and close the umbrellas above our outdoor picnic table. I politely declined saying I didn’t want the debris and rain getting into our food, he said he’d come back later which I thought was best, only to have another server not 5 minutes later come out and literally tell us to try and hurry and eat in the next 5 minutes, because they need to close the umbrella so it doesn’t blow away! It was not windy in the slightest, and there was barely a sprinkle of rain. I was flabbergasted, we quickly just asked for boxes so we could just leave, not only did they rush us along but then not to consider the debris from on top of the umbrella going into our food that we just spent a good amount of money on just blew my mind. Only to see their neighboring restaurants with their umbrellas open unfazed. Certainly a strange hill for them to die on and to chase off their well paying guests. Very unwelcoming. Will unfortunately not be dining here again, ESPECIALLY if there’s a breeze or...
Read moreThe pizza was great. Especially the Mediterranean! The outdoor patio vibes were nice. The service was pretty non-existent.
For some strange reason, they refuse to take your order at the table, instead making you scan a qr code to use the toast app to place your order. I was having issues with the app and it was at least 15 mins before I was able to flag someone down to ask them to just take my freaking order, and he seemed put out by having to actually talk to customers rather than handle everything digitally.
My friend was able to use the app to order a beer. 20 mins later it hadn't showed up. I went inside to ask the server for it, and he said "oh sorry I missed that, did she just place it?" I said "no, she placed it 20 mins ago." And he went "oh sorry, that happens all the time with our toast system." I'm sorry what?? It happens all the time that your app doesn't work, and yet you still refuse to just take people's orders, or even check on them every few mins to see if they need anything? Kinda sad to see a place with such good food yet such poor...
