The Rock Garden — Restaurant in Lyons

For the sake of full transparency my wife and I were craving a breakfast sandwich and heard this was a great spot to drop in for exactly just that, and boy let me tell you I'm glad we did!

It was a little cloudy and overcast but that didn't stop us from sitting outside and enjoying the delicious sammies and soaking up all the vibes. My wife got the locally smoked salmon, avacado and egg breakfast sandwich, and I got the bacon, egg, and arugula breakfast sandwich; both made with bread that is locally sourced from James Beard Award Semi-Finalist "Moxie's Bread Co.".

The 2 guys working the stand were incredibly friendly and nailed it on the cooking. In fact, my wife and I went out to a different place for breakfast the next day and we both wished we had gone back to The Rock Garden instead!

I work at a business in Lyons and I brought my husband to the Rock Garden for the Pride celebration and we stayed for the Show with Chloe Katz. What a fantastic venue and a great time. The Rock garden is truly a place for great events and the staff are totally awesome. Cold beer and good margaritas!! Thank you for a great time. I was so glad to get a chance to enjoy your place after having worked in Lyons for over a year it was nice to go out and confirm what my fellow coworkers had been telling me about what a great town Lyons is and how cool the Rock Garden is at the A-Lodge. We booked the Rock Garden last minute for our wedding party. With only a few days notice before our wedding, they were very accommodating! We had very consistent and clear communication with Rhea about our event the entire time.

James was our bartender and he was amazing!! He let us put on whatever music we wanted, had all the fire pits going, and was so friendly. James made sure that we had the best after party ever and he definitely succeeded!!

We would recommend the Rock Garden, and especially James, to anyone looking to host a gathering or wedding after party. Our wedding day was perfect and it ended on the best note thanks...
