Do NOT stay here||Where should I start? From the management to the room itself, I had many, many issues.||With the room, the plus side is you are on the beach looking out over the beach and, that was a big plus. But it stopped there. The room was not well maintained. With chops on the floor and broken missing tiles in the bathroom, We got far less than what we paid for.||The room was a 2-story loft, with the living room/murphy bed on the main level and a king bed on the second. Sounded nice until you realize that there were no curtains on the second level, as it has a railing that overlooked the living room and then a full wall of windows facing the beach. Nice in the daytime, but not so pleasant at sunrise.||The beach was charming, but it is the same beach for every place on the strip, so it is nothing that this establishment did to make it great. In fact, the only contribution was the wooden chairs that were solely for the use of this “resort” These were literally broken and in terrible shape. From the sun coverings that would work to the backs that were no longer attached, just sad that no one here cares.||The bathrooms were appointed with multiple small bars of soup, but no shampoo or conditioner was supplied in either bath. ||The biggest drawback, other than being able to sleep in in the AM, was the lack of sound proofing. Our neighbours were not noisy at all but we could hear them talking all night. Not word for word, but a loud muffled sound. Not too serious if you had the TV on, but when you want quiet and your neighbours are not ready for sleep, it made for an unpleasant time.||We arrived early and the “manager” was there to great us, stating that it was a good thing that we arrived early since she stops working at this location at noon and we would have had to drive several miles down the road to another property to get checked in. I thought this was odd since check in was at 3 PM. Turns out that was not the only thing that was odd. ||As we toured ourselves, we found the hot tub, but there was NO POOL as advertised on their site. Maybe we had to drive several miles to locate it, but we never did. There was a cocktail party, but again, not at this location, but down the road. I don't know about you, but when it is 89 degrees outside, the last thing I want is a hot tub at 108 degrees. False advertising is a big NO NO in my books and it shows what you are in for when you find it.||When it comes to management of a location, beware of this one. We were there as Hurricane Nicole approached landfall. I expressed my concern and stated that we wanted to cut our visit short and she said that she understood, but no refund would be available. She went on to say that she thought it would just be a bit of wind. ||I thought, so let me get this straight, we have to wait until we are in the middle of a major hurricane before we can check out early and get a refund. Well, by then we would have had to hunker down and stay another 2 days, which she told us that we could book and pay for if we needed to. No thanks. We stayed another night, but then it was on the news to seek shelter away from the coast, where there could be a storm surge of 4 feet or more. At that point, we packed up and left. It was in the AM, but no management was to be found. I would guess that most likely they were not coming on such a bad weather day. ||I felt for sure that with the warning to move away from the coast being on the news that this would qualify us for a refund, but to this day, my emails about this have gone unanswered. I wrote on both the refund and my $40 deposit for 2 plastic keys that I never received back, but at this point, I am not surprised.||We have always stayed at Hotel/Motel/Resorts and this was our introduction to a Condo rental. It seemed like a great new adventure, but it was not the adventure I would ever like to repeat and for you, please do not stay here, as there are many choices. You will be opening yourselves to a heap of stress, and that is not what anyone wants on a...
Read moreWe just spent a week at the resort. It is very clean, very close to the ocean with spectacular views. We saw dolphins swim almost every morning. We were very pleased with the location, being very close to major shopping and attractions. We stayed in room 204 which had several drawbacks. The balcony directly overlooks another tenant's balcony so you are literally a few feet from them. You hear their conversations and they hear yours, no privacy whatsoever. The queen bed was lumpy and squeaky. It needs replaced badly as I could feel the springs. The ice maker was very loud when it dropped ice which sounded like knocking at the door. That was very scary at 1:00 am. The washer and dryer are very small. You can get maybe 2 towels and some underwear but we were very glad to at least have it. The microwave was very loud after 30 seconds like it was going to explode. It needs replaced. The kitchen was adequately stocked with silverware, plates and pots and pans, but you'll need your own paper products and cooking spices. There is a coffee maker, it's not a keurig. Morning and evening mosquitos can be bad on the balcony, you might bring some bug spray. Overall would stay here again. Next time will try to get room on an...
Read moreWe stayed here a week ago for a week. We had an enjoyable time. I could not find anything regarding our one bedroom loft to complain about. It is perhaps one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The staff were wonderful. The location is great. The previous complainer about not having a view of the ocean should have read that the website. There were several activities scheduled during our stay. The hot tub was warm although the outdoors was very chilly the week we were there. The grounds were kept very clean.Although parking is limited to one spot per unit there is additional parking available in a very short distance. If you didn’t have a good stay while here it’s because you did not try hard enough. Mary is a great manager and has information about everything. We look forward to coming back in October...
