Goombahs Cigar Lounge on Madeira Beach — Local services in Madeira Beach

I am a tourist but I love smoking cigars, so when I travel I like to find a good local place with great service and fun staff. I found that and more at Goomba's Cigar Lounge. Juan knew everything about all the products in the store. I showed him my normal sticks and some highly regarded ones I have smoked. He took that information and ran with it and got me a selection to choose from. Not only were they in my wheel house they were above my choices. But, the prices were very reasonable and the product was fantastically cared for by him and his father. Juan is, also, a magician and he had some fantastic card tricks to entertain with as well. Ask him to show you. The sports talk was great, the history was fantastic and the locals were amazing and welcoming. I stayed for 5 hours without thinking. I had a rookie cigar smoker with me and Juan found him entry points for each cigar adventure, he was fantastic for even the rookie. Juan cut and lit our cigars and gave us a great time.

Some features I found to be fabulous. Goomba's has a relationship with the surrounding food businesses and even has their menus. So when the snacks and the fantastic coffee and drinks are not enough, you can order from the locals and have them delivered to the lounge! I highly recommend this place and think anyone will have a great day of fun. In addition, the ventilation system is over the top! Guests came in to drink the beer and have fun with smokers and the place was clear of smoke. The only thing remaining was the great smell of well-cared-for sticks.

I found this cigar lounge by chance on a work trip and cannot be more appreciative that I did. One of the owners met me in the walk-in humidor and after listening to what I normally enjoy, recommended multiple sticks I would like and that I didn’t currently have in my humidor. After expertly cutting and toasting my cigar, he recommended drink pairings. This is the first cigar lounge I’ve been to that did that and it was awesome. I asked for and received local restaurant recommendations, I was introduced to a cigar magazine I wasn’t familiar with, enjoyed great conversation, and had an overall great time. I'm really impressed with this family run business. Friendly, very knowledgeable about cigars and wine. It's a clean place, run well by really nice people. Casual but classy, laid-back vibe across from the beach. They have a nice wine selection, beer, and seltzer drinks. They also make a great double espresso! I personally don't smoke cigars but am familiar enough to know they have the high end cigars and know EVERYTHING about them. I enjoy the smell of a great cigar while I'm having a few glasses of wine and good conversation!! Nice, friendly crowd.
