We went here thinking it was a full dining restaurant. While there was no interior seating option, we were more than happy to sit outside. We wanted a service style experience, which they came very close to. There just weren't any service staff available....I must say, though, the beautiful young lady working the cash register/window, also did a good job of providing the service we did receive. She was very friendly and polite. She seemed eager to provide hospitality to all of the patrons visiting. While the food was good, I don't think the quality matches the pricing. 1 taco for $4.50 but the taco was ...meh! I ordered 2 coronas, but they were out, which was unknown until I went to get mine. The elote was delicious, as was the queso. The chips were mediocre, and quac was fairly flavorless. I ordered a bowl, which was very filling. One of my guests ordered the fried margarita balls, which were just a dry donut hole with a watery margarita(ish), tasting icing. Overall, the dessert was a disappointment. If you want 4 stars, I would suggest adding a service member just for patrons dining there, either adding products to the taco order(maybe 2 for 4.50, or elevate the quality of the taco for that price. We are a Hispanic household and eat as such very often. I can tell you the cost of that taco, and it is NOT valued at $4.50. I would definitely build on what you have going....it's a great start. If you were to ask me, I would assume this business is fairly new and still looking to develop the model in the future. I hope your success grows as I would love to experience an elevated...
Read moreWe came here looking for a quick meal because we were in a hurry to get to a comedy show in Tampa. Needless to say, we got to the Improv with time to spare & had our bellies full of DELICIOUS food & beer.
I loved that you got to pick your beverage from the coolers inside on the way to being seated. They had a good selection of local beers which is what I always try to go with. Our waitress was very nice & attentive. Menu was very simple. $4 for each taco / side or $6 for the guac & chips. They had a lot of good taco / meat options to choose from. My wife & I got a few chicken tacos & I had a brisket taco. All of which were phenomenal. They are each served in a paper boat & filled to the max. The queso was really good & served in a plastic container making it super easy to take home if you don’t finish it which doesn’t really matter considering you will definitely eat all of it.
We will definitely be back at least 1 more time before our vacation ends & every time we make our way...
Read moreService is a bit disorganized and chaotic, but the server was super nice. I'll say that the actual tacos are good, we ordered nachos as well which were super mediocre. It was chips, cheese and some meat. No salsa, no jalapenos, no cilantro, nothing else. We mentioned this to the server, and she was nice enough to remove it from our bill. We ordered quesadillas for the kids, which they didn't eat. They normally like quesadillas. I tried a bite, and the cheese was a bland, greasy mass. I understand cheese is greasy, it's congealed fat, but the type of cheese you use for quesadillas should be flavorful. Kraft singles would've been better than what was in these quesadillas. Literally tasteless. Not even salty. So thumbs down on the quesadillas, and nachos. Again tacos were good, but tbh I didn't think they were rave-worthy. The guac is very good here, the chips that come with the guac are soaked in grease however - waaay too much. So for me this...
